What I had to do was open my nVidia Control Panel and change it to "Let my 3d Application Decide" under graphics settings.

Yes, It's a setting that you need to toggle in your graphics card properties. Try to disable Anti-aliasing and anisotropic filter in-game, and restart the game and try again.. if It doen't work, try in your graphics card settings.. If you have an ATI graphics card, there is a patch on the web to fix that.
