He's wiggling this camera left and right, as if it were going to the water any second. That would test the K7's weather proof sealing alright. Anyway, just kidding. Lovely camera. I especially like the HDR photo mode, where you can combine three different exposures to make one photo. It's an amazing technique for landscapes. And the lens distortion correction is also interesting. Great camera. Would be even better if it were full 24/36mm frame for all those new K-mount Zeiss lenses

And when you say it isn't as good as the 50D, what features do you mean that are better? Other than the faster 6.3fps and extra half a MP, there is nothing that the 50D can match to the K-7.

The K-7 was released as a superior camera to the D300+50D. Not only does it offer what both don't have, such as in camera HDR, +-5EV, and SR, but it also matches both in terms of build quality and is more compact (not much lighter though). Please get your facts straight before you post another "first-look"
