  • WTF does the bible have to do with gays in the military? When was it ever suggested that transgendered and transvestites be in the military? Why is joe scarborough still on msnbc? The bible is the #1 bestseller, it's been there since before god was created. I want to play war with Anderson Cooper and take him hostage.

  • WTF does the bible have to do with gays in the military. We all know that The Bible, #1 bestseller since before God was invented, is a fascinating novel and nothing more.

  • C.N.N stands for Communist News Network.

  • Real christians who actually research the bible know all of the 'anti-gay' laws were for Judiac priests at the time of the bible's conception. They had nothing to do with homosexual, loving relationships.. it was strictly written so priests didn't fuck dudes, simply as an outlet because God said: No Pussy.

BTW, what kind of fucking straight dude would obey a god who said "No Pussy".

  • Totally incorrect. Totally wrong. Judaic priests married and had children. Homosexuaulity in the OT was illegal for all people in Israel.

  • Sorry, I know you'd like to RECREATE history, but that's the facts. Homosexuality was only illegal for priests at the time. And it was only because they could not sleep with females and resorted to males (as a loophole) that the 'abomination' passage even exists.

  • If you are talking about Judao-Christianity then what you are saying is an out right lie. If you would like me to I'll pull out the Torah and give you an exact quote.

  • This verse is a part of a group of hundreds of rules and regulations called the Law. It is important to note that this group of rules is always referred to in the singular form such as: the Law of Moses, the Law of the Lord, the Law of God, the Book of the Law or simply the Law. This Law is contained in Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. These rules were to be taken as one Law. It's all or nothing.

  • The Torah is the first five books of the Holy BIble which was known as the five-fifths of the law. I believe all of those you posted are contained in the Torah. But the point was that the law did not just apply for the tribe of Levi, but for all in the HOly land, even forigners were subject to parts of the law.

  • Here's why I support openly gays in the military: The premise is that gay men, living in what might be considered a "target rich environment", will be able to restrain themselves while sleeping and showering with other men, not necessarily all gay. No impact on cohesion. No problem. Since I haven't seen any study nor expect that gays are better at restraint in these circumstances than heterosexuals, then it logically follows separating men and women is unnecessary. Now, just convince the ladys.

  • Roman soldiers fought by lovers side by side on the battlefield. It only made them a stronger fighting force than worked in synergy and on the off-chance someone died, well.. let's just say: would YOU want to face an armed, trained, blooded elite-warrior after you just stabbed his boyfriend?

  • gays should NOT serve in the military for the same reason women should NOT bunk with men in the same barracks....sexual tension, and too many distractions. it's bad enough women are allowed to serve...male soldiers are distracted by them and have probably died because of these distractions. The last thing the military needs is to have to deal with openly gay men demanding the right to read playgirl in a foxhole or on a ship. If you're gay and MUST serve, then don't ask and don't tell.

  • You're an absolute idiot. It will distract the soldiers if gay soldiers read Playgirl? You've got to be kidding me. Gays have served honorably in the military since the times of Caesar. How about this one Einstein, how many men do you know would be thinking about their gay counterparts when they're being shot at? If they are more concerned and distracted by homosexuals than the bullets flying at them, then they deserve to die for their total idiocy.

  • Bullshit. I've been on football teams, in private mlitias, and camping with lots of gay and straight men. I can tell you, the only time there's 'too much tension' with a straight guy in those situations is when the guy isn't so straight. Heterosexual men are scared of being with openly gay men because in showers and settings like that, it's the straight men who are scared of being turned on.

  • 40 years in the military so he should ask whatever the fcuk he wants. Good for him, exposing these homophobes.

  • I love me some Mika...

  • Hellary knew, as she controls every breath of every bug that works for her

  • robinnfletcher Is a FOOL.

Everyone take a look. He/She/It thinks It is GOD. It thinks It makes the rules. That It has the moral superiority to decide what is right and good for the rest of us.

It thinks that the old saw "as long as you don't hurt anybody" has merit (just as long as It defines what "hurt" is).

Is this what we have come to? Homosexuals making up our moral fabric?

  • If people do not think that gay men have not been in the miltary since it began are ignorant.

  • First is was "BLACKS in the military would cause dissention" ... then it was "WOMEN" and now it's the "GAYS." How immature can a nation be?

Take a stroll in the Arlington~Virginia or the Normandy~France cemetaries. Look upon the hundred of thousands of white crosses & stars of David. Try to imagine how many of these brave and valiant soldiers who gave their lives from their country were in fact "gays."

It's time to rescind "Don't Ask...Don't Tell" and join the rest of the mature nations.

  • You are wrong librophile. It is time to STRENGTHEN "Don't ask/Don't Tell".

I find it offensive that you try to equate the struggle of Black people to people who's only connection is their immorality.

To answer your screed about the cemeteries. The answer is LESS then 1 percent.

Finally please define "Mature Nations". Are you referring to Iran? No. This can't be. Hmm.. Lets see... You must mean Norway!! Yes they have a GREAT "Defense Dept".

Funny how you don't care about the 99%.

  • I wanted to be "mature" and make somewhat of a "mature" response since maturity is a big part of this debate but I decided against it and now all I've to say is:

    Idiot.

  • I wanted to be "mature" and make somewhat of a "mature" response since maturity is a big part of this debate but I decided against it and now all I've to say is:

    Idiot.

  • Let s/he who is without sin cast the first stone. Those who judge ARE immoral.

  • robinnfletcher I LOVE it when idiots try to quote scripture. Please quote some more. I love reading the word of God.

Oh by the way. since you were too much a coward to say so. What is YOUR definition of immoral.

    Maybe there isn't one. Right?

  • Judging people is immoral, goes against that little black book you find in motel rooms. My definition of immoral is simple--doing something that hurts others, however badly or not so badly, and goes against your own religious rhetoric (morals) which clearly orders us little manbingos not to hurt people, for that is sin. I am glad my words impassioned you to write and get your unexplained anger out for a moment.

  • Name calling is so immature and I'll bet God finds it immoral! And what is wrong with homosexuals making up our moral fabric? At least they have not killed the number of people whom Christians have in wars and daily oppression of condemnation. AJM9797, I would call you names but I refuse to put myself down to your level. God bless your condemned judgmental little satanic soul before it ends up aflame in a lake of eternal helllllllfire. Isn't that special?

  • robinnfletcher When it comes to the technique necessary for inserting a penis into the anus of another man we will all certianlly defer to your superior knowledge.

When discussing faith, scripture, History, or morals you show a stunning reek of stupidity the likes of which I have not seen in quite a while.

Since You are Homosexual you HATE anyone or anything that challenges your perversion. This explains your incoherent ramblings.

    How pathetic.

  • Well, we just like to ass-u-me things, don't we? As far as I know, I am NOT a homosexual. Nevertheless, you may have your little fantasy about me, I suspect you already are salivating. And again, name calling is so immature and it is pathetic...but it appears to be YOUR specialty, along with judgment of others. What bragging rights you have to share with your friends. Love you! Smooch!

  • This from someone who has a picture of their 'God' on their channel background - a gun. Jesus said those who live by the sword, die by the sword - oh but I know, guns are okay. What a hypocrite. I'm sure you turn the other cheek often too - hypocrite bigot.

  • guardian22222 Yes please judge me.

I live being judged by Pedophile HOMOsexuals.

It makes me so happy to know you are looking after me.

I am glad you like my New Sig. I intend to show it to you when we meet. I think you will LOVE it.

  • ...just more proof of what closet homosexual Christian fundamentalists are all about.

  • guardian22222 So glad you have joined us. It gives me more time to get to know you.

    FANTASTIC!

  • guardian22222 Yes you are right I am all the things you accuse me of.

When I find you we can talk all about it. I so hope you can help me. I have narrowed my search. I do this for a living.

  • Enjoy your account while it lasts, moron. The only thing you're close to is a cyberstalking charge under 18 U.S.C. 875(c) or 47 U.S.C. 223 both US federal laws that you've broken with your threats of an unsolicited meeting in person and 'showing me your gun'.

  • guardian22222 May I remind you that you are following ME?

You ASKED me about my weapons on 3 different occasions. I was just responding to your request.

You keep posting every where I do.

YOU said that Sicilians were HOMOsexual.

You said that I needed testing.

You said that Christians were Pedophiles.

I so hope you persue this.

  • I never asked you about your weapons - I commented on the fact that your love of guns violates what Jesus says in scripture and I have a right to say that without receiving threats.

  • I never mentioned Sicilians - don't even know what that's about and it doesn't matter because I could say whatever I like about Sicilians without violating any laws as you have. And the contents of the entire internet are recorded weekly in snapshots and kept just as YouTube keeps records so there's no reason to even discuss what was or wasn't said - it's all there.

  • guardian22222 I sure hope that YouTube keeps these comments.

Then they will see that you followed me and make remarks of a post I made 2 weeks ago.

What is that all about? If you are so concerned why follow me?

Maybe all this is in your head? Maybe you are obsessed with me?

Why is it that when you stalk me you claim it's legal?

You are so funny. I cant wait...

  • There is nothing illegal about posting comments. I never suggested we meet in person or expressed any desire to meet in person. In repeated statements you claimed to be 'getting close' to being able to find me and meet me in person and show me your gun which is obviously a threat because my comments about your guns were derogatory and I showed no interest in seeing your guns.

  • guardian22222 So sorry. I misunderstood.

My question is that If you find this so objectionable why o why do you continue to stalk me.

I love these chats of ours and I will answer them as I see fit. I really don't care how you feel.

You asked to meet. You asked about my hobbies. You follow me from place to place.

    Thank you!

  • I never asked to meet and you know it. You, claiming to be a Christian and telling flat out lies - so concerned about homosexuality but not concerned about violence, murder, stalking, lying or anything else that will yield the same result as homosexuality according to your bible. You're a hypocrite and a joke.

  • guardian22222 You are such a confusing troll. I don't mind your posts. I love them. It is the highlight of my day.

You are the one who seems so upset. Yet you continue to make contact.

Are you sure you want to continue this? Your continued esclation is thrilling to me.

As for my part... I will happily respond in kind.

My feelings are that some things should be said in person (ie. HOMOsexual Sicilians). Seeing your strong feelings maybe you feel the same way?

  • Revelation 21:8But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters AND ALL LIARS—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

  • guardian22222 Please continue. How I love reading the word of God.

It is good for you. It will help you.

  • Sexually immoral (on your terms)? That's about 95% of the world, honey. You really need to wake up and realize that you're not only vastly outnumbered, but extremely outdated. Pray for the rapture sister, so Jesus can take you from us 'sinners' into his magical castle in the sky. (and away from us.)

  • You belive in God? You are made of hatred. Hatred is NOT God. Can't you see beyond it? Can't you feel your soul?

  • auroraginga the HOMOsexual agenda has as it's final goal the complete normalization of their ideals.

If raping the minds of kids helps those ends then they are happy to do it.

We are not free to express negativity or misgivings. If we do not shout our approval from the mountaintops we will be labeled as "haters". Its easy to see where your desire lies.

  • ...Express your opinion all you want, but I still can't see what gives you the right to dictate what I can watch or not or how other people should live. Your children are yours dictate to them

  • I wanted to be "mature" and make somewhat of a "mature" response since maturity is a big part of this debate but I decided against it and now all I've to say is:

    Idiot.

  • i got wood

  • Don't be a fool. He was a Hillary plant and CNN was shilling for her AGAIN!

Your rabid hatred of Fox is just your own intellectual weakness showing through.

You can't STAND having anything but YOUR opinion can you? It makes you crazy that you don't own ALL the media.

You think that the other networks aren't Liberal? Don't make me laugh! Have fun in your echo chamber fools!

  • joe is "full of crap" ...he claims that no political party owns him -total crap!

...when push comes to shove, morning joe is owned by the republican agenda.

  • At the same time, there is a certain level of honesty and integrity that CNN is lacking. At least if Joe has something to say, he's out there saying it... Not making up the news as he goes to promote his own unethical agenda.

  • Very WRONG-FNC is by far the most biased. Roger Ailes is a Republican who worked on the Nixon, Regan and Bush senior's campaigns, he founded & is president of FNC. No other channel has such a partisan bias. Concord Monitor investigated misconceptions of major news events & not surprisingly found that FNC viewers were less informed and possessed the most faulty information.

  • Interesting comments, ymmudu. And yet somehow it is always Fox News Channel which is reporting stories that the other networks refuse to pick up because of the possible damage to their liberal bias. Why don't you back up your comments with some facts and figures for us "less informed" individuals who watch FNC?

  • The info from these studies is available everywhere. Google something like "fox news viewers less informed". Unless you are an extreme partisan or intellectually dishonest you should already know that FNC is highly biased. I only suggest that under-reported news items obtained from FNC should be highly vetted to an even higher level than news from other sources including MSNBC & CNN.

  • Info? Studies? Are they from the same idiots who do all that "Global Warming Science". Or... Work with me here... Did these "studies" come from the idiots in the NYT editorial dept?

It must be Loud in your echo chamber!!

  • Let me guess, you only believe polls when they show results you like. This is someone's research, not my opinion. Besides the Concord Monitor, here are 2 more sources whose studies show that FNC viewers are uniformed: The Pew Research Center, The Program on International Policy Attitudes at the University of MD. Show me anything that disputes the findings, or is another insult all you have?

  • Ever heard the term Garbage in Garbage out? I love it when polls come up with wacky results. Since I happen to be trained in this area (mathmatics) let me educate you.

I can make a poll that will proove that:

    Madonna is a virgin.

    CNN is Fair.

    Fox News is socialist.

    and You are normal.

Read any good Conservitive Polls lately?

  • Another insult, gee what a surprise."Conservative Poll"? The idea with polls is that they ask people their political leanings & other personal info and then factor that into the findings. But if there is such a thing as a "conservative poll", I'd definitely like to see one that rates conservative's spelling abilities.

  • Fox News blatantly has a right-wing bias.

Hannity has his STOP HILLARY EXPRESS, Hume, O'Reilly spew their HATRED for Hillary Clinton 24/7 -Fox & Friends scoff at the mention of Clinton's name. Even Ann Coulter says "they (neo-cons)" would be screwed if Roger Ailes wasn't at Fox.

MSNBC & CNN with their faults, behave much more civil when reporting political news.

Fox can do what they wish, the right-wing & neo-cons need their own network.

  • Oh I see. Being against Saint HITLERry is baaad?

You think that PMSNBC is civil? HA HA HA.

You think CNN is fair? ROFLMAO!

Think about your handle (uglyusa) and you will find that YOU are what you display.

  • You're damn right (ajm9797)-It takes one to know one & YOU are what you hate. I bet you voted for Bush -TWICE! Keep America (ajm9797) UGLY!

  • Ugly. I love this country. YOU seem to think it is ugly. Lets examine why that is.

Could it be that you have failed everything you have tried and you blame your country instead of yourself?

Are you a HOMOsexual and blame others for your illness?

Are you homeless and blame others for your lazyness?

Please tell us why you are so pathetic?

For me... I don't hate anyone. I symply want to clean up the gene pool one idiot at a time.

    I'm starting with you!

  • so you are just a murderer?

  • Why are all you Americans suprised? You're media is controlled and pretty much fake. America is a sham democracy by your own western standards.

  • You think this is something we don't know? I'm right with you -- complete hypocritical bullshit

  • This is so stupid. If you open up debates to "real Americans" via Youtube, that means you open it up to all American citizens -- including those who are part of another campaign. If Clinton herself wanted to ask a question, that should be allowed, but this just goes to show how bullshit this all is. P.S. It may be a "set up question" but isn't it a valid one?

  • 1) Not a valid question. The GOP has already stated a) they are NOT for gay marriage b) they do not want to change the "don't ask don't tell" unless it is for kick out upon discovery.

    2) This is a PRIMARY debate. Apparently you don't know the political system very well, but in primary elections liberals look at Democratic candidates and conservatives look at GOP candidates.

    3) Conservatives lost the chance to ask COSERVATIVE questions to be able to best able to pick THEIR candidate.

  • This IS the exact problem with the political system and thats exactly why I think it is a valid question. People should rationally consider all options, or as many as they can, in hopes to perhaps pick up on the objectively accurate solution or best lens to view important issues facing our society. Obviously the polarized "extremes" we're dealing with today do not work really well and essentially crippled the govt.

  • I think that to be a strong representative to ALL citizens of this country, not just those with similar views as yourself, you have to be asked and consider these questions. This is especially true it you DO want a conservative candidate in your case. Knowing how they interact with "liberal" (i guess thats the opposite) thinkers who they will work with if elected to office I think would be something you might want to know.

  • CNN - Clinton News Network

  • If so, you must agree that Fox News = Fascist News.

That is much closer to the truth, like this stupid propaganda campaign meant to take the heat off a GOP panel that was boring, zenophobic, homophobic and sophomoric.

Sure. Just whine that you think the debate was rigged. The content of the answers is long forgotten, isn't it. You're clear. ;)

  • It has already been shows with multiple studies that the most 'unbias' news source IS Fox News. so no, i don't agree. If you want I can send you the academic research that shows it.

  • The question didn't bother me. It was a tough question, but it affects real people and involved a real issue of the day. (much more so than the "what's your favorite baseball team" question. I wish they would have let Ron Paul answer the gays in the military question because he has a good and reasonable response on this issue.

  • CNN

"We hate Bush:Now here's the "news".

  • Wasn't that ,typical blonde among men, woman wearing the same thing in her last Youtube most viewed videos appearance with the whole Paris Hilton thing?

  • by planted question you mean tough or embarassing question? The debate was for AMERICANS to submit questions. Gay retired generals are Americans whether your bigoted minds can grasp it or not.

If you bothered to watch followup interviews on CNN you will find that no, he is not a Clinton staffer but listed his name in support of an issue (his VERY good name, note all you support our military people) he also belongs to Log Cabin Republicans.

  • Clinton News Network.

  • Perhaps someone in the Hillary Campaign Team is trying to sabatoge the campaign. The Clinton Team has made many enemies over the years, so it is possible there are insiders that are doing this on purpose.

  • Perhaps?? OF course the Clintons "Plant" people, they have swindled people all their lives, so why stop now. If you hated nasty/dirty ads from these clowns in the past, Just wait till 2008! Hate, spew, scandels, (you name it) are going to in our face everyday! :)

  • No kidding! But can you imagine four or eight years of Clintons all over again? I know Hillary would be President, but thats the equivalent of having a ruling royal family. America needs Ron Paul.

  • The Clinton's left a trail of destroyed lives.

  • If CNN hadn't flown this guy out to proselytize, I could almost buy the ineptitude excuse. CNN clearly has a gay caucus in their newsroom that was behind this.

  • Proselytizing? What, that's a good thing for christians but a bad thing if it's an issue that makes you uncomfortable?

Believe your conspiracy if it makes you feel all big and stuff. Just know, it's crap.

  • "CNN clearly has a gay caucus in their newsroom that was behind this."

So the fact that the GOP clearly campaigns against civil rights for gays has no place in a GOP debate?

You would prefer that some dope with a GOP pin on his lapel ask Romney, "What are you doing to protect my grandkids against gay pedophiles?"

The asnwer is plain -- keep the little tykes away from GOP headquarters, but there are real questions that the GOP needs to answer, too.

  • This President Run for 08 is full of surprises! Strange isn't it!

  • The biggest surprise is yet to come...

    ...tea anyone?...hehehe

  • haha dumb republicans. Hillary manages to pull one over on you again. There's a debate and everyone is talking about Hillary. I consider that a political sucess on her part.

  • it's bull shit on the part of the established media.

  • Not to mention that she is null and void against the republicans in the polls so now she has planted over 4 questions in this last week. She cant win so she is having a hissy fit to interfere in the rest of the campaigns.

  • concerned groups are taking action on this alarming situation, FIVE

  • CNN does it again. Can they sink any lower?

  • Yes. I promise you that they can.

  • yea, going to have to 2nd that, this is CNN...

  • most trusted name and news.

  • Main Stream Media sucks balls

  • But CNN is better than Fox, and maybe MSNBC

  • Better at planting people at debates.

Better at hiring former administration members.

    Better at being INCREDIBLY partisan.

(well ok, they tie with the alphabet soup network on that one)

  • i don't like hillary as she has socialist tendencies, but that was a good question the guy asked. As much as repubs don't like it, gays are pple too and can serve valiantly in this nations military. apparently cons feel they don't need strong able-bodied pple in the military.

  • Gays are people, just GOP has already stated that they don't want to change the don't ask don't tell, it like asking the GOP to change their stance on abortion or gun rights.... the issues is already closed, they have made up their mind, they don't CARE if librals don't like how they made up thier minds.

  • No, they just don't want openly gay people in the military.

Why does seemingly everything about gay people have to do with who they have sex with?

Their whole identity as a person is dominated by it.

  • Alright be honest--the situation is reversed --democrats on a Fox sponsored youtube debate are asked questions by by plants from republican campaign organizations You think this story would be a little bigger?the Times would cover it,the other newspapers, every local tv station and there would be calls to revoke Fox's FCC license .

  • OK, say that happened, and everyone at Fox was genuinely bewildered that it did, and there is no evidence of rigging.

Then we find the alleged plant was vetted like other questioners -- honest oversight missed his background -- and so a lib would be as stupid as a box of rocks to continue shielding Democrat debaters from revealing questions by claiming that Fox planted the questioner to ensure that the embarrassing question would be asked.

You see how the box of rocks analogy works, right?

  • My understanding is that CNN flew him out there;then he gave him the microphone indefinitely,it seemed like;they had a press release,by their own admission, telling them he worked for the campaign."Properly vetted?"In your scenario, just that plane ride would have been enough for the rabid fox haters,:besides,it's the democrats who had to be shielded from that a Fox sponsored debate, remember?

  • show me where the dems have made such a mess of america and the world tomcat, as have the neo cons.

the neo cons have much more to answer for because of their dismal record in the last 13 years.

americans have become very leery of neo con liars, what bush has wraught on us and the world, and how the neo cons supported bush's dismal, harmful, ignorant, dangerous, stupid administration without question!

  • Typical loser Dem's at CNN. They are in the Tank for Bill & Hillary and we have know it all along, nothing new here.

  • Democrats had no business being allowed to ask questions at a GOP primary debate.

  • "Democrats had no business being allowed to ask questions at a GOP primary debate."

Now, that might be true in a totalitarian society, but here in America, Republicans often vote for Democrats and Democrats often vote for Republicans.

You do live a sheltered life, don't you.

  • You are assuming too much about me. I said democrats shouldn't be asking questions in *PRIMARY* debates because they will not be voting in the primaries. Just as republicans will not be voting for the democrat candidate. It has nothing to do with totalitarianism.

You do live an uneducated life, don't you.

  • Brig. Gen. Keith Kerr (USAR Ret) is a registered Independent.

Beyond that, "afraid to ask" doesn't mean that potential Republican voters necessarily want or need to hear GOP candidates answer questions about issues always nuanced in shades of Republican wishful thinking. Everyone likes unvarnished truth now and then.

Maybe you don't get it that YouTube is not a subsidiary of the RNC or DNC. The purpose of the debates is not to let candidates preach to their respective choirs.

  • Nor is the purpose to let democrats tell us why they aren't republicans. Everyone who answered gave the ridiculous responses we expected.

  • Hey Moron so what if they joined today and found something they wanted to speakout about. Maybe they are not an unemployed idiot like you who stays on YouTube all day with out a life - EFF OFF isn't time for your dermatologist appointment.

  • This general did not serve in the military as an openly gay man. He declared his sexuality AFTER he retired.

If he has the courage of his convictions, he would not have served as "other than" homosexual.

    How professional is that?

  • There is a reason that CNN is called the Clinton News Network. They are bought and paid for by the Clinton campaign.

CNN should just come out and say they are campaigning for the Democrats and get it over with.

  • A gay Brigadier General from the Hillary steering committee got more air time than the candidates got answering his question.

A John Edwards supporter got to ask a question about throwing women in jail over abortion.

And Bill Richardson backer pleaded with Ron Paul to split the conservative vote by running on a 3rd ticket.

Obama backer "The Log Cabin Republican" also got a shot in.

CNN is no better than FOX.

  • It's a valid question regardless of who asked it. It's a republican question more so then a democratic one.

  • Even though Bill Clinton is the one who approved "Don't ask don't tell" ?

  • To anyone who thinks this kind of "horticulture journalism" is no big deal: It's dishonest to plant a political operative in the Q&A. All it does is prove just how desperate the Democrats are to slant the tone instead of having an open and free debate across the board. CNN knew exactly who these hacks were, from the gay former General to the muslim female working for the terrorist front known as CAIR. I haven't watched the Communist News Network in years, and this only re-affirms my reasons.

  • You're embarrassed when loyal Americans expose the GOP as racist, homophobic reactionaries.

#1: CNN isn't as dumb as WorldNetDaily, snowing a few while huges masses aren't fooled. Why risk ad revenue by being duplicitous in view of the general's background? CNN isn't the story.

"I want to know why you think that American men and women in uniform are not professional enough to serve with gays and lesbians."

That's the story. Screech loud enough and the GOP may avoid giving an answer.

  • What matters is that Kerr and his other plants lied and cheated. That this has not happened with people on the conservative or libertarian side is very telling.

Leftists believe in the end justifying the means. Anything, no matter how sleazy, is ok as long as it's "for the cause."

  • You've proven my point, but do you really believe that?

Bush staged fake questions at campaign rallies. Bush staged fake questions at military briefings. The Bush administration staged fake questions that were in the news just a week ago. Bush staged incredibly ludicrous photo ops and briefings during the Katrina disaster.

You must be kidding, but again, the story isn't who the questioner supports. The story is the answer to the question.

  • Hey Moron this is not about BUSH. This is about CNN and their bias. Bush did it so it Ok for CNN to do it. DUH DUH

  • The claim that I answered was about Bush. Did you miss it?

"What matters is that Kerr and his other plants lied and cheated. That this has not happened with people on the conservative or libertarian side is very telling."

Now, the first point is a false claim. No one but babbling wackos claim that CNN planted the questioner.

The second point, that conservatives don't lie and cheat, is laugh-in-your-face stupid.

  • newsbusted sez: "Leftists believe in the end justifying the means. Anything, no matter how sleazy, is ok as long as it's "for the cause."

-By your reasoning, you must be a leftist!

Your cause is smearing anything not part of the current republican agenda (war mongering, homophobic, intolerant religious right ideology) -this is why you can't address the question & instead, smear the person asking it. -a sleazy way to avoid the issue.

  • Stop drinking the Kool-Aid, sweetpea. The real story is that CNN felt compelled to plant political hacks to ask the questions.

They must be scared to allow real constituents to voice an opinion. It's the typical democrat "logic" of "it depends on what the meaning of is "is".

    Keep screeching, moonbat.

  • Obviously you missed the point.

The meaning of "is" is this; he is a citizen, a real constituent. Just because someone is pro-Clinton & gay doesn't mean they've given up their rights to speak. We don't live in a totally fascist regime, yet.

Although I'm sure you would like to revoke the rights of all who dissent from your views.

Clearly your moonbat mother needs to change your screeching neo-con diaper.

  • Another Moron "UGLY" it is a Rep primary debate for republicain to decide who to nominate. Dem's had theirs. CNN is taking on itself to decide what questions they want the republicans to answer. THIS IS TOTALY ABOUT MEDIA BIAS AND HOW THE MEDIA TRIES TO FORCE ITS VIEW ON THE POPULATION. Thank God for the internet and bloggers! Years ago this would have never been exposed.

  • If you repeat "CNN planted the questioner" long enough, your dog might start to believe you.

The GOP candidates are a pack of racist bigots who come off as racist bigots. That's the story. No one but the WorldNetDaily crowd of slobbering hyenas believes CNN intentionally tried to somehow fool anyone by concealing the general's background.

Just the usual pack of idiots babbling to hide the lowlife state of the GOP, 2007.

  • i don't get what the big deal is. this was a republican debate. it certainly doesn't bother me if they come and ask questions. it would have been more correct if they had told us.. but i'm not surprised they didn't.

  • Setup or not, the candidates bombed on the question as far as I'm concerned.

  • Is Scarborough drunk?

If anyone wanted to plant an embarrassing questioner in the audience, they could have gone out and brought back a Republican drag queen child molester from any public bathroom and set him up to ask questions of the the hypocritical, bribe-taking, cross-dressing GOP panel.

Come on, now. It isn't hard at all to expose Republicans -- they are the ones who are exposing themselves. ;)

  • I defy any anti-Fox poster to check out the Fox debates versus any other, and you'll see intelligent, serious questions, tough on all eaqually. No stupid softballs like at most of the dem debates hosted by other news organizations. It's one thing to make the claim, but that claim (of Fox's "extreme" bias)doesn't stand up.

  • CNN = Clinton News Network!

  • Typical cnn hypocrisy. And the democraps refuse to have a debate on Fox News? What a joke!

  • That is because Fox News is the propaganda arm of the RNC.

  • The difference is, notus, is that the democraps are afraid to debate on Fox News. Get it? cnn deliberately sabotaged the Republican debate, which the Republicans weren't scared to appear on. What are the demo-surrender crowd afraid of?

  • so true the dems are pussies. what they should do is go on fox and say foxnews is for retards that still believe they attacked us for our freedoms bullshit line. and not what osama said we attack you because your in saudi arabia the holy land. of course now the saudis not allowing anymore americans troops in their country lets make bases. gee where?? oh yea iraq! lets keep the marines over there and not protect our borders.

  • Planted questions? No problem...as long as the Democrats are sandbagged with a pro-life feminist; a question posed by a black person about race based preferences, pointing out the discrimination agianst whites and asians that ensue; a pro-war democrat, etc.

And the Dems wouldn't go on Fox?

  • Yes, dems are afraid of dealing with Fox.

  • On Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Mark Levin today, it was revealed that there were seven or eight others who were Democrat "plants", supporting various Democrat candidates. If this was "fair" - then it would also be fair to load up a studio with Republicans the next time there is a Democrat debate, and let them fire away..... there are a LOT of questions that need to be asked!

  • Republicans are such wimps...see George Sr. I have never seen a bunch of hiding behind the womens skirts, "men" in my life. How in the hell did McCain survive as a POW is beyond me. God help us if this is the best we can do as a country, support people like this who will not demand action from CNN and call them out for this garbage. CNN would not get a single sentence from me every again after this.

  • All this aside it was still a good question and should have been asked.

  • Riiiiight...we didn't know that there were plants from various democratic candidates at the GOP CNN/YouTube debate.

  • OK CNN if these questions were so important how about you present these same questions to the Democrat candidates!

CNN is out to make Republicans look like buffoons.

Also, not one mention of Israel. It would seem to me that the #1 recipient of U.S. aid, and the #1 cause of U.S. problems, would merit some attention.

  • So how does a question make anyone "look" like anything? BTW welcome to Youtube so nice to see someone who just joined today and has watched almost no videos find 1 that's interests you so much right off the bat and plant much?

  • Maybe I have better things to do than watch You Tube all day.

  • thumb up.

  • You lost me at "#1 cause of U.S. problems." While I agree that a discussing Israel would have been appropriate, wouldn't Islamic Terrorism have to be considered a much, much, much larger problem?

  • those issues are intertwined in reality. gop debates do not reflect reality

  • scarborough is one of the few news anchors with any sense. that debate was a total joke with the questions that CNN lined up for air time. what would jesus do? do you believe the bible? what do you think of the rebel flag? give me a break! if i had been one of the candidates, i might have considered leaving. what a waste of time and a disgrace to the office of the president. you will NEVER see democrats asked questions like that. totally agenda-driven.

  • CNN = CLINTON NEWS NETWORK

  • CNN = Clinton News Network. Most Busted Source of the News!

  • I do not even live in the US, but I follow this presidential election very close and it's interesting that it always seems to be Hillary-supporters behind every goddam campaign scandal! Fck Hillary!

  • WAIT! didn't joe scarborough get paid to speak at a thompson fundraiser at $1,200 a plate dinner?

whos calling the kettle black here? notice they aren't talking about the question and the issue here.

anyways, if he supports the clintons, why is his question critical of ask but don't tell which was a clinton policy?

  • Next time a Democratis on Fox News, let's surprise them will an unannounced call from Ann Coulter live on the air? Sound good?

  • CNN the Clinton News Network

  • I will boycott CNN (Communist News Network) from now on! Glenn Beck will have to change networks!

  • Who cares? The question is still a valid question. What does it matter if the question comes from a General or whether it comes from a moderator?

  • I care. Kerr destroyed his credibility when he failed to tell who he was. He he had added that "This is why I'm with campaign X", no problem. Perhaps he didn't want a "President Clinton created - Don't ask Don't tell", as a whishy washy was of dealing with gays in the military?

  • My point is that it doesn't matter WHERE the question comes from. The candidates should be able to handle any issue that comes to them. I thought the question was a fair question, and the answer was a fair answer too. Fine. Republicans don't support it. That's all they need to say. To create a big deal over where the question came from is ridiculous.
