it's funny to see a very high fantasy board game to become a santard fantasy strategie pc game.

Theres already a 40k movie. It's just not that popular because it had horrible reviews before it even came to US. A remake would be nice, with some things added in, and a fantasy version would also be awesome, but as everyone is saying: mixed reviews.

As for the trailer for AOR: This is the best MMORPG cinematic I've ever seen, but from what I hear, it is not even a spec of a fragment of what the actual game is like. Still have yet to play it.

A game even close to that kind of gameplay, though, would take huge companies like Lionhead, Ubisoft, and a little bit of EA and Relic.

RE: jocstarbunny - I totally agree with you there, but I think if they ever did, it would recieve alot of mixed critism from warhammer and 40k fans which is expected of course, but what I'm kinda trying to say is that people really aren't very easily pleased these days hahah....but still hold on to that golden thought.

Of course they're going to get mixed reviews, I'm sure they( fans) are getting mixed feelings about the halo movie or the mentioned World of Warcraft movie. I just hope they haven't swept the idea of a 40k or fantasy movie under the carpet..... Also, thanks I'll still hold onto the thought xD

If any of you didnt notice, EA Mythic added some quite funny sections of offbeat humor in the video. At 2:22 - 2:24 when the chaos marauder goes to chase after the shadow warrior (shadow warriors ftw) you see an orc crash into the building where she was standing. Trust me, its there. Also at 3:46, you see the squig herder get shot by an arrow (lol). I really liked this trailer, one of the best ive seen for ANY game.

Kill time on a pvp player in WAR is about 10-15 seconds. in wow you can 2 shot people in 5 seconds...

They do have all the races just not all the original careers. They removes the Knights of the Blazing Sun, Choppa, and maybe one more I can't think of it right now.

Meh, the Wotlk trailer might be nice aswell. But when people see the WOTLK trailer, they want to see a movie. When people see the WAR trailer, they want to play a game, so i reckon ours is much better

rly dissapointed. This trailer shows absolutely nothing about the game.

It's mindless "oh I use 1-2 skills and pwn my enemy, so i get pwned by the next one who comes across etc."

It tells no story, it is childish and it is exactly what we have seen from 1000's of other trailers.

WoW trailer is soooo much better.

Well. In WOW you have to cast a million spells to down a player. WAR is far more realistic. You think you can survive after a giant exploding bomb hits you, or a spear pierces your heart? This is war. You don't have to use a 1000 skills, you can use 2 practical ones. BTW-No story? What about Tchar'zanek and the giant Lord of Change you may have missed? Again this is Warhammer. Chaos does not need a reason to mindlessy kill.

Yes, spawn and die from an enemy at your own base that makes total sense hylianloach. And TheFluffyEvil if your not in the Beta like me than don't make up stuff, I've never killed anyone in RvR in less than 15 secs and that was a Dwarf Engineer like 5 levels lower than me in Tier 1. The fights are of fantastic length and the classes are almost completely balanced as of now in my opinion although I hate bright wizards and kill them on sight. DEATH TO BRIGHT WIZARDS!!!

Not in Warhammer there isnt its an MMO not Halo you don't get spawn camped cause your not RvR flaged when you respawn.

No Ive never played WOW just watched and personally I couldn't take the cartoonyness of it for too long it just didn't hold my interest visually but I was in the closed beta (as it is currently over), will be in the open beta and I can tell you that (for an MMO) the graphics are amzing even though they havnt even put in high resolution textures so any gameplay video of the beta you see it will look twice as good as that at least. I'm in love with the well balanced gameplay and Tome of Knowledge

And I can also tell you that with all my time polaying I have never once seen or been spawn killed. They made sure you couldn't.

1.You dont spawn RvR flagged.

2.There are lvl 55 Champions and Heros guarding each outpost that you spawn at and they basically kill you with a simgle shot so every player has an utmost fear of them and stay far away.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, and WoW is an excellent game. Though, I don't know where you get the cartoony-ness. IMO, it looks more realistic than WoW.

Ahh this is a high quality animation bud like the kind you see in movies..not a cartoon...like in WOW. And this is what Orks and goblins are really like in lore seeing how the Warhammer tabletop game CREATED them so try to make sense next time.

Ya they removed the NDA dude you can talk about whatever you want the squig thing with the goblin herder is an in-game mechanic in which you're squig gets bigger and you climb (or in this case get eaten) into the mouth and it acts as extra armor. It called Squig Armor btw.
