@m173627 Glad you enjoyed it - It's too bad that you can't really hear the full spectrum of sound from the organ! We recently have changed to Foley-Baker our of Tolland, CT for our organ maintenance, and the tuning and overall reliability of the organ has improved dramatically. Perhaps I'll re-record this so everyone can hear the changes.
The church is Christ Church United Methodist in Glens Falls, NY.... it was installed in 1974, Casavant (Brunzema)... I've been at the church for almost 3 years as organist and choir director... thanks for your response!
How refreshing! If more young people spent more time engaging in such wholesome activities, there would be much fewer problems with rape, gun fights and anal masturbation.
Just a bit of advice.... your fingers need to be on the keys ready to go.....and no bouncing. Quiet hands....you will have better control that way and the music will sound much cleaner.
Thanks! That's something my organ teacher gets on me about - I've only been playing organ officially for a little over a year, so I'm still a bit of a novice.
Enjoyed it very much. Great playing! I could tell the organ was a Casavant by the stop tabs--no one makes them that way. I too would like to see the specs, please. I also am wondering what was the installation date? Keep up the great playing for the Lord!
amazing!!

@dscats19
Yeah I tried listening with headphones but I don't think your mic picks up the low registers too much. Still great though

@m173627 yeah, it's recorded on a digital video camera with no additional sound equipment - eventually I'll get some good microphones

I love the sound of Casavant Organs. The church where I am a member, has a large Casavant with 5,871 Pipes

@dscats19 I love the Brunzema era Casavants. His finest effort is in the Cathedral here. Lovely playing on an outstanding organ.

Did you use Sforzando on the last part of the song? Either way, it sounded awesome!

Nope, never touch the thing! If you watch you can see me adding stops throughout. I do something different with it every year.

Is that the Willcocks arrangement you're using?

Greetings. Nice start. How many weeks have you been studying? Ya know, I could swear this sounds like a popular Christmas tune...

That seems like a relatively small three manual instrument if it has only rocker tabs. Specs please?
