Why do people complain about how Porsche sounds? Im not sure about you, but I am certain that there is no car company that can make a 6 cylinder engine sounds so good.

Has any of you heard what a 997 GT3 RS sounds like right in the middle of its power band? It sounds like a Le Mans car with mufflers. You hear the machine, not just the exhaust. Any car with turbo's fitted will sound "quiet". Porsche makes it an art to sound unique. If you cant accept that, well...go watch nascar.

My M3 SMG inline 6 is raspy, my 951 2.5L sounds much meaner and deeper. Like comparing a Harley hog with 500cc raspy dirt bike.

928GTS with bypass & x-pipe has best sound of Porsche. Reminds me of MGM Lion at start of movie cranked up on my Def Tech towers & 12" subs.

911 remind me of washing machines.

I really don't like the carbon fiber bonnet. I know they wanted to lighten it as much as possible, but painting it and increasing the total curb weight by less than 1kg wouldn't have been the end of the world. Porsche is supposed to be sensible... the CF bonnet is silly. Reminds me of a Honda.

@SpotterGijs He's right, the car is 'silent' when compared to other cars. You can even hear a bird over the car at @0:56. BUT, its nothing against the car, I love it, its my favourite behind the 997 GT2 (non-RS).
