Talk about a surrealistic-style jaunt down memory lane. So many choices, it must have been difficult whittling down the selections you wanted to use. I could think of a thousand more but hey, I'm sure we all could. I'd still go back in a second.
Pink Floyd : Dark Side of the Moon, a very young Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham (debut album) , Keith Moon, Robert Redford & Barbara Streisand (The Way We Were), Foxy Brown, Bruce Lee, Al Pacino (Serpico), Lynyrd Skynyrd, Roberta Flack, trio of babes : Maria Muldaur, Linda Ronstadt & Bonnie Raitt, Steve McQueen (from Papillon), David Bowie, ? , Carlie Simon, Richard Nixon (yes, you ARE a crook), Elvis, Marc Bolan, the original Eagles, New York Dolls....
(Part 2) ~ Roger Moore as James Bond, Woody Allen & Diane Keaton, Led Zeppelin, John Lennon & Yoko Ono, Paul & Linda McCartney, Maureen McCormick, Peter Falk as Columbo, David Cassidy, Susan Dey, Helen Reddy, Jim Croce, Yul Brynner, Clint Eastwood (make my day), Mott The Hoople, Teddy Pendergrass, Mick Jagger, Jimmy J.J. Walker, Paul Newman & Robert Redford from The Sting, Todd Rundgren, Steven Tyler & Joe Perry from Aerosmith, Stevie Wonder (8th wonder of the world)....
(Part 3) ~ Bob Griese, racehorse Secretariat, Bobby Riggs, Linda Blair, Elton John, Billy Joel, Ron Howard, Robert DeNiro (Mean Streets), Billy Preston, Alice Cooper, Brutha Don Cornelius, Slade, Bob Weir (Grateful Dead), Diana Ross, Ryan & Tatum O'Neal, Michael Jackson, John Denver, Paul Simon, Steve Miller, Bea Arthur, Master Po & Kwai Chang Caine, Wings, Red Foxx, The Waltons, Sonny, Cher, and Chastity, family greeting soldier home from Vietnam, Telly Savalas~~ whew!

Again, if anyone else wants to take a shot at guessing "who's who", just send me a private message with your (numbered) list of guesses and I'll post your results here in the comment section!

Fantastic video, made me feel a little sad reminding me of friends lost, but also good in other ways, also reminds us older folk how quick time has past since 1973! So to all you younger folk.......don't waste the time you have, if you are in your mid twenties then you are having the best of it so have a good time and.......
stick it to the man!!, Otherwise you will wake up and you will be 45 with a wife 2 kids and a dog and wonder WTF happened to my life!!!!!
The man at 3:30 is the rock musician Alice Cooper. And no he was not about to die. This is a photo of him undergoing a mock execution onstage. It was part of his concert act :)

I just LOVE how the bass is being played in this song, it almost complies with the lyrics and almost answers it. Love how it is.

There's Jim Croce at 2:00. Ironically, he was killed in 1973.
samsticka 11 months ago
@samsticka Well, that's not really ironic, is it? She picked the pictures for their relevance to the year.
ashleythewriter 10 months ago
@ashleythewriter That wasn't what I meant. I meant the lyrics for the song. James is singing about 1973 and that's the year Jim Croce was killed.
