If I had to drive up the Hume Freeway from Melbourne to Sydney (880Km) with the family in toe I would take the Commodore (Vauxhall) any day. If I wanted to thrash around a race track..the EVO 8 -9-10 would do the trick.......but I don't drive around race tracks on a daily basis. Give me the HSV version of the Commodore and Iv'e got the the best of both worlds!
Hang on, how come the 6.0 Monaro has 40% less power than the Evo? Surely that equates to less than the 5.7. I thought the 6.0 develop 414 bhp. Said so on TG anyway
@Stjepan105 thanks for the uploads m8 brings cheer to my day . and you must be a very patient fella , i mean i've watched all the parts and read almost every comment . patient , patient fella indeed x))
A problem with these tests is that they position the car above the explosion or building collapse. An explosion sets the car free and a collapse dumps it near the top of the rubble pile. A more-realistic test would place the car on one of the parking levels, normally at a lower level. Not even the Hi-Lux would survive.
Stated because i have no sense of humor. Nor of the dramatic.

@Levente20 Pontiac is owned General Motors and so is Vauxhall, so they release the same car with a difeerent name depending on the country it is imported
@2491cc Just because it's owned bty GM doesnt mean GM designed it. Holden designed it. There were no Americans involved. For example.. if i owned a restaurant, and my chefs cooked the food, i wouldnt claim to have made that food, just because i own it...
HSV FTW!!!

a problem with these tests is because he dumped the clutch and put it to the floor when he could have mashed that evo is he knew how to drive.
