Something is wrong, either it takes more than 14 minutes to walk, or the tunnel isn't 16,000 blocks long. Average walking speed in minecraft is 4.27 m/s (4.27 blocks pr. second). 14 mins ) 840 seconds, and 840 x 4.27 = 3,586 blocks. (For sprinting all the way, this would be 4,712 blocks (average sprinting speed of 5.61 m/s). Alternatively, IF the tunnel is 16,000 blocks, it would take 16,000 / 4.27 = 62m 27s (47m 32s in sprint). And in the vid you claim that real time walking would take ~27m...!

@DutchDansing That's a good question. Assuming the tunnel truly is 16km long, that's 16,000 blocks long. Since the tunnel is 3 blocks wide, that gives a total standing area of 48,000 blocks. Multiply that by two, since you can generally squeeze 2 players into the same block at least for a moment, and you have 96,000 players that you could fit in the tunnel.

After Redoin the math 14minx60sec= 840x5m/s walking speed= 4200m. So my original argument of it not being 16 km still stands.Even if it was 14min by minecart it would still be 6720m it is still an impressive tunnel however.
