  • Mad vid but the phone is heavy

  • can i use this in australia? anyone know?

  • @momomotototo It depends on which version the store sells; Check out wikipedia / GSM_frequency_bands or google image search for GSM MAP.

Also check out shops like Deale xtreme with more reviews on the products...

BUT: I would recomend a newer watch with better features (microSD slot, java2me, lighter).

I her the cect S9110 has j2me support! Also you could get a €100/$140 android and a bluetooth watch (SE LiveView, OpenWatch) could be a better choice.

  • @Schorhr thanks so much, helped heaps

  • The MQ007 HAS A MEMORY SLOT ALSO:) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IF UR LOOKING FOR A CELL PHONE WATCH:) I BEEN LOOKING AROUND FOR A FEW MONTHS AND THE BEST ONE I SEEN IS THE MQ007. VERY REASONABLE PRICE IF U KNOW WHERE TO BUY:)

  • IKEA!!

  • huhubrauche dringend beschäftigung bin so einsam! Jemand lust zu chatn

  • does it have an IN-BUILT MIC & SPEAKER? so u can just talk/listen directly into the phone without the need to use a wired headset or wireless earpiece? please reply.please.thanks so very much.Greetings from Singapore

  • If you watch my movie you will hear the movie and system sounds.

This watch has built in mic+speaker, but everything else is not so good.

  • @Schorhr U shoulda got the MQ007 looks alot better...i just bought mine for $75 off ebay and FUCKING ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! Cellphonewatchshop dot (c0m) is tryna sell the MQ007 for $299 lol I got the black and gonna get the white one also:) Worth the money:)

  • @tranjohn

Thank you for the info :-)

Right now I am using a Vodafone 845 with Android 2.1 (€100/$130) which is working perfectly. I was hoping there would be watches available by now with at least java2me support, but no luck. The linux watches have never come further then beeing prototypes, too bad. The cheapest mq007 I could find at ebay as "buy now" item is $79, wich would sum up to $97 after import tax and paypal fees. I'll think about it :-) Thank's for the advice.

  • @Schorhr ur welcome and i haggled the price from $79 to $75 lol and there's no other paypal or import tax fees. $75usd buy now on ebay free shipping to ur door:) Just got the item delivered a few days ago and really loving it:)

  • @tranjohn

As I am located in germany, there's 19% tax on international orders over €22/$30, and Paypal takes 2,5% afaik for the currency exchange in €... :-)

"Free shipping" is actually a bad thing, as the duty-free value is €22 on the order's value. Shops that offer "free shiping" are just combining the cost causing more trouble for many countries... I order at Dealextreme a lot, usualy I shop arround for stores wich display the shipping fee.

  • @Schorhr really that sucks:) Free shipping is a good thing here cause it means that u don't have to pay extra for shipping:) Combining cost isn't causing any trouble for Australia. The place that i got the watch from is a wholesaler that's why they can offered to sell at a very low prcie and offer free shipping:)

  • Free shipping is an illusion. Either they add it to the total price, or instead of an rebate. Nobody is giving anything away for free- especially not the post offlice.

    Even if buying wholesale.

customs.gov.au states that it is duty/tax free for orders of $1000 or less. Unless you receive several packages at once.

    ww w. customs. gov. au/ site/ page5549.asp

    Lucky Bastards! ;-)

Here they increased the duty-free to €150, but it's gonna get taxed if it's worth more then €22 :-)

    Ah well.

  • @Schorhr it's free cause we aint paying for it but the seller is:) i know the post office isn't giving it away...the seller is cause he can offered it. If it's a wholesaler they most likely have a deal with the shipping companies so therefore they can offered to cover the shipping cost. I don't know what ur talking about cause i haven't paid any extra tax for shipping for the watch here:) I paid $75 for the watch and nothing for shipping which means shipping was free:)

  • battery life?

  • today i received my new mobile watch, finally i am happy, but i had to wait for it long time...

  • 2-3 hours talk time and 10+ hours standby. I have confronted an issue with the watchphone with touch screen. seems to be out of control and can't calibrate. Also don't know how to reset the phone. Any clues???

  • I bought mobile watch Q007 about 2 months ago from china online shop, but I sent It back after about week, because It was not working properly, the problem is that i am still waiting for refund, and i think this idea was waste of money ..

  • @papudrak200 haha your fault if you buy shit like this at a china online shop, btw. you will see your money when the hell is frozen - MUAHAHAHA I realy like stupid people

  • is it good

  • does it really have JAVA? i have the m800 watch phone but it doesnt contain java...

  • NO it does not, as I stated in the review.

  • can you add more programs/apps/games on it?

  • can u put a TF card in it?

  • Nope, not in the q007.

  • yeah the wrist mobile watch support T-falsh card

  • wuts t-flash?

  • can you tell me how much you bought it

  • About 140 Euros. Its cheaper in China/HK, but here I was able to return it.

  • hi buddy this terry from the mobile watch manufacturer which in shenzhen of china, you can buy it from our agent seller in usa. by the way .where are you come from?let me know i will tell you local distributor contact information.

  • Thanks alot for making this video! You tha man! Almost bought this today and man am I glad I didn't! A Flash card reader makes a big difference, and the thickness of it. I bought the V2 Sport a week ago, and I must say I like it. It is still a little thick, but to most it appears to be a big ass divers watch, so it doesn't draw ANY attention till the buttons on the wrist band is spotted. My only complaint is, it has no weight. My bluetooth headset is heavier!

  • Can you make a review? Where did you buy it?

    :-)

Does the v2 support java (j2me)? Some stores advertise it, some do not.

Also, same trouble with the camera?

I am still uncertain if I should get another model such as the v2. I like the ones where you can remove the wristband and just put it in your pocket, but they say some disatach to easily and might fall of. Also I would like to use some metal wristband maybee, and since the v2 has a partial plastic band with keys its probably impossible :)

  • A update after a long time: On chinamobiles (orgdomain, german, thread 5315 post268358) I read that the cect S9110 SEEMS to have java- seen no proof so far, but sounds legit.

  • though i watched the review i did not observe that its 640*480 resolution.here in india its not yet available so i spoke to the manufacturrer directly he later agreed that its just 128mb and .3mp aaaaaaaa its a deal crasher for me man!thanx for alerts.

  • Note that is the same issue with most (all?) other watchphones. If you can live with 0.3mp there are other nice phones though with extension slot for 1-4gb (usualy 2gb) memory.

Unfortunaly they are (almost) as thick as the q007 while having a smaller display...

  • wrong camera resolution?tell me more, isnt it 1.3 mega pixel?coz iam planning to buy one next week.

  • Did you watch the review at all?

Also if you check some stores and ebay auctions you will note honest seller will mention that these watches only have 0.3 Megapixel = 640x480 instead of 1,3 MP. Since I doubt that there are many copies / variations of the Q007 it is most likely that you will recieve a 0.3mp camera watch phone.

  • nice review, zaire shyone, did it have a expansion slot next to sim card slot?

  • Zaire shyone?

No, the Q007 did not have a (T-Flash memory) extension slot. I have seen shops that offer this watch with a memory extension slot, but I still disbelieve that there are modified versions.

Due to translation problems or pure dishonest labeling therese watches are often advertised with 1,3 Megapixel cameras, Java-Support and many other features which they usualy do not have.

This one even had the wrong camera resolution printed on the box.
