This was okay. I can understand how some would think it is lackluster compared to her, back then, usually electric performances. But she did perform like this, even in her hey-day, every so often -be it anomalous. Unfortunately, this performance, one that is arguably just not bad and would have been considered lackadaisical back then, is one of her best now.
@BrItFaN4eVeR I agree that the promo performances for Circus are WAAAAY better than the ones that she gave for Femme Fatale, but I think the exact opposite is the case for her tours...so far the Femme Fatale tour has been TONS better in terms of her dancing and vocals than the Circus tour was...I think the reason the Circus tour's choreography suffered was because of the HUGE stage. She seriously had to run all over the place to make sure everyone got a look at her, lol.

And the knee injury IS a big reason she doesn't dance as hardcore as she used to, that came directly FROM HER MOUTH. Plus she's also stated that she's looking at the bigger picture in terms of her performances...she wants the whole thing to be entertaining, not just the choreo.
If you watch Britney: For The Record or some of her other rehearsals you'll see she can still dance like she used to but she isn't giving it 100% on stage for some reason.
You know it's funny because when I saw this performance I thought it was lackluster compared to her earlier performances. Now I wish she could even dance like this because her Femme Fatale performances have been even more lackluster. You do notice(in all her performances since then) her dancers do all the choreography. She's not her slim self. That's due to her kids. She's also nearing 30.

She sang a lot in her old days, while doing rigorous dance routines, but it was still mostly tracks in the background, but you could still hear her a little bit. Gaga doesn't do rigorous routines; therefore, she can actually sing at live performances.
Now, this isn't the best britney dancing. But so much better than her GMA performance this year. I'm always one to root for britney no matter what but she honestly let me down this year on GMA and even Jimmy Kimmel.

i used to love britney but i was too young to realize the woman didnt sing live.. like thats what singers do. and she was good for her dancing but... now her dancing isnt even on point and shes not that old.. so i dont know what she has left but her fans and she doesnt give enough credit to them.. so i dont know britney. ive been a little monster since the beggining and its staying that way !

This had actually been her best performance since her In The Zone days...
Her Femme Fatale tour just doesn't have that energy and these lame excuses about her knee surgery and that fact she's turning 30 just don't cut it.

You'd thing that she would grow up and learn to be a true performer amidst all that auto tune noise which helps her voice sound young in an effort to compete with the youthful singers of today. Nothing new, still encourages sexual gestures even with two kids. I'm sure they would one day be proud of her performances. Not a good example for tweens of today. Thank God for Selena Gomez Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift. Hopefully these girls won't go down that Britny road.and stay on the clean side.

And it is the knee injury, she's said in interviews before that she's not gonna go as hard with the choreo like she used to due to having broken it twice before.
