What else than geophsyics is fourier analyses useful?

@syrenissen Fourier series can be used to solve differential equations. These equations may arise from a multitude of physical phenomena (including, but not restricted to, geophysics). I encourage you to do a few searches and see what you can find.

@syrenissen very closely linked with quantum mechanics is just one example, comes up all over the place for all kinds of things!
