What I think he does is: he records himself standing there moving his arms and w/e and then walks off and turns the camera off, he then with the same camera, unmoved, takes a picture / does anorther short video without him there, he then edits the first vid so it stops b4 he walks off then does a transaction between the 2 and adds the `particles`

exactly that's the trick. removing the sequence where i'm walking away from the screen and transact these two scenes.
