supernova 8 has 1.06 mhz and the nova 7 has 800mhz 40$ more get the supernova 8 you get .1 and 206 more mhz

Its not really about the mhz. The supernova has a weaker gpu and can only output 720p while the nova and planet can output 1080p. Technically the nova and planet are stronger than the supernova; but a capacitive screen is appealing. The planet and nova house the mali-400 gpu which is found in high end devices like the samsung galaxy s2.

well i would not buy this if its 170 i rather but out 30 more bucks for kindle fire it a strong competitor for the ipad and its 200 bucks even tho ipad wins by far but is u have 500 bucks to spend then there you go

I only want to store HUNDREDS of photographs digitally so I can browse photo galleries on the fly without having to print out the images. So as far as image quality, how does it perform? I don't care about online, features or any of that kind of stuff. Strictly for reading and browsing images.

I just got the Pandigital Star and it works really well. Angry Birds works really well on the Pandigital Star so I would imagine that it also works well on the Nova. The only thing is the Pandigital Star only has one front facing camera and the Nova one he's showing has 2 cameras. Skype works on the Pandigital Star so I would imagine it also works on the Nova ^_- The Star is $149 and the Nova is $169 where I went. You may find them even cheaper folks :)
