  • would be funny if he instantly got a blue screen lol

  • he said that it took a couple of hours to load software, but i think it only took him ten seconds

  • @SpecificallyCodHD No, he said it took a couple of hours to configure all stuff, if you don't know how to build a computer that is. I've built many computers so i can do it in about 20 mins.

  • what if i put the mac os cd in the computer instead of windows?

  • @DXMinecraft wont work

  • @amirsh91 How do you know, it is just an operating system, it's not like there are any pre-pc stuff on there.

  • What kind tutorial was that?

"Oh yea put this cd in here that there " WTF ALLS YOU SAID WAS TO PUT IN CDS!

  • @Sporkinator4

    haahhaaaa

  • i wanto to build a pc...but how will i know whethere certains hardware are compatible with one another ?????

is there a site i can look at ???

  • @ixy1987 look at ur motherboard specs and see what its compatible with and buy ur parts from there.

  • I can't hear the hard drive but IDK I'm part deaf that might just be me

  • it be funny if it exploded XD

  • @debonaire33 lool :p

  • Idiot* s this video is 3 years old and then those parts were good. Ur so freakin dumb.

  • Funny...I was hoping he would explain the jumpers in video VI. I was hoping he would cover chipset compatibilities and things like that. I was hoping he would explain how to configure the BIOS. Am I wrong for wanting these things?

  • Windows XP? This piece a crap couldn't run Windows 3.1!

  • u noe wat i mean anyway its ok isn't it? =="

btw wat is that OS called?

  • must i use windows xp?can i use vista or apple?

  • @terenceau11 Apple isn't an OS. ;p

  • @npplscorpion apple is a company

  • It's a rats nest of wires

  • i watched this cuz i was board, and i just want to say he says nothing about hardware compatibilty, i wonder how many comments on these videos say something like "the ram wont fit! it doesnt even look like its supposed to!"

  • @MrODOJ Really, this is a half assed video...people shouldn't even waste their time with this guy...

  • Faggot

  • lol and how many times did you use the anti-static wristbands, witch you said where so important?

  • @cappi10 He said he was using an anti-static workbench, tard.

  • Whats with the clear side window? The internals aren't something I would want to show off! ;)

  • I wonder if there are motherboards that have more than one PCI-E slots?

  • @dasupasin seriously you've got to be kidding me buildinng a computer is easy to build, a 13 year old boy (me) can do it and it takes about 1 hour max. that same computer u bought would cost about 450 bucks to build anyone who buys a computer is just getting ripped off by dell or hp or whoever it is your buying it off

P.S. what the hell is a single core 2.8 ghz processor doing in a computer with 1 tb hdd, 8 gb ram and the nvidia gforce gt 220! its way out of its depth!

  • Comment removed

  • @OrbitlDropShokTroopa I dont have a single core, I have a AMD Athlon II X2 240.

  • ok, i followed all the instructions, but there was smoke coming out of it, but its ok, because i installed a little chimney and opened a window.

Question, why does the hard drive smell like melting?

  • @c64c64c64 Your Power supply may be giving too much power tothe HDD

  • thanks, this helped so much, i feel a whole lot smarter :D i didnt like how all the videos were so short instead of one long vid tho :/

    5* cheers! ^^

  • Sorry but I have just accedentally flagged this vid. Ps i think either my dads pc (advent laptop) or me and my brothers pc ( yes we have the same (toshiba) laptops)have an ati radeon Grapics card and me and my bro have hdmi ports on the side and don't forget to update ur bios! If you have a bios update! It's very important though!

  • i give you your props this is going to help mebuild my computer

  • Way cheaper to build your own machine with crazy RAM and HDD space. If you were to get a 1TB HDD, 4-8GB RAM and an awesome video card from any company it would cost twice the amount. When I get the money i am definitely building my own computer.

  • @Kavanaghness I bought a iBUYPOWER Gaming Rig for $634, 1.5TB HDD, 8GB DDR2, 2.8Ghz processor, and a 1GB Dedicated GeForce 220 graphics card.

  • thanks, subbed

  • how do u know how much power u need i've tryed looking it up but can't find it

  • what if bios dose not load?

  • then you probably need to check your connections... you might have left something undone... good luck...

  • its easy to build but difficult to look for the software what you need

  • thank you dude :), all was nice tutorials.

  • If i start to build a epic gaming comp, is there any chance that I could damage it by making a small error in the hardware part? =s

  • wot kind of error?

  • if ur making a comp with expensive parts and u plug in something wrong (which i doubt its really hard to do lol) then it just wont work you wont damage anything

  • nice, quick, and simple

    Just like bulding a computer

  • Thank you man! now i can build my computerm. gonna play l4d2. thanks again

  • thanks bro.......nice keyboard... lol but thanks again

  • wow this was an awesome set of tutorials .... thanks!

  • Im going to buid my new computer for my 16th bday. High-End gaming computer, ill save shitloads of money. Thanks!

  • Maybe 50-100$!

Seriously, though, very good motherboards, graphics cards, CPUs and sound cards are EXPENSIVE. But if you shop around, you WILL save tons of cash. Don't go for the first one you see.

  • @JonGre93 I got an iBUYPOWER Gaming Rig for $634. It has 1.5 TB HDD, 8GB DDR2, 2.8Ghz processor, and a 1GB Dedicated GeForce 220 graphics card, which can run all next-gen games easily. Trust me, it's easier to just buy a computer nowadays instead of making it, you save time and money

  • @dasupasin What time would you save exactly? You talking about the 1 hour it takes to put everything together?

  • @dxjjv82e6e9y9 You dont have to put together a computer you BOUGHT. So I can't really answer your question

  • @dasupasin "Trust me, it's easier to just buy a computer nowadays instead of making it, you save time and money"

  • @dxjjv82e6e9y9 Yup. What about it, I said if you buy it, it's faster, what donmt you understand about that

  • @dxjjv82e6e9y9 It's way more fun to assemble it yourself, and if you buy the high-end parts, it gets ALOT cheaper.

  • @seanleyla I agree.

  • thanks dude i build mine and it works . i'am writing from it right now hehe

  • Cool man helped a lot... good to share knowledge :P

  • Thank u

  • Awesome videos thanks so much!!! I will build my next computer following the steps depicted in these videos.

  • Nice! Thanks!

  • lol that keyboard and monitor look old as shit.

  • hehe im building mine tomorrow and its also gonna run crysis though im gonna play wow mostly,,,

  • im building a comp. today! :D

Its $840 and is going to run crysis. :D

  • If ur building a high end Gaming Comp ull save more just buying one on sale tho.

  • lol no

  • Wow, I never knew that building a computer was so easy.

  • how mutch do you think this computer cost and also if you could make one on building a laptop that would be awsome.

  • this computer is probably under 400 or 300 dollars and no you can't build your own laptop YET... technology is advancing very fast so sometime in the future this option will be available; however you can customize a laptop from a manufacturer to fit your needs.

  • I know I can put a computer together for 140.00

  • you cant build a laptop, and the price depends on the specs of the machine

  • you can too build a laptop. The laptop cases are very ugly when you build it. They are harder to build then a desktop but people have done them. It also cost a little more money. =]

  • so where can u buy all the hard drive? and the risk band thing to get rid of static? and overall is it worth making a computer?

  • yeah its worth making a computer, buying it from a company charges a LOT for labor, but if u make it on ur own and buy parts u can save so much money..

  • Looks like fun. I find plugging a USB device in for the first time mind blowing so i wonder what this would be like.

  • Do I not need a floppy drive for the first boot then? I might have to upgrade my bios to run my AM3 cpu, or will the new motherboard i'm going to buy come with the latest bios?

  • You'll need a floppy drive to upgrade your bios, yes.

But the bios that's preloaded will be factory default.

Therefor, it's probably the first full release, like 1.0 or somethign.

  • did it look like he was trying to hide the screen? that makes me feel alack of trust but then again I did not watch all the parts.

  • yea it did like he was like the bios is on nd then when it was there in front of him he was like typing wtf lolz anywayz this is A very olllld computer setup sooo yea

  • So let me just check. These drivers come with the cards? Or are the disks a seperate cost?

  • Normaly hardware comes with software if it needs such.

  • the drivers come with the cards

  • You save alot of money when you build your own pc

  • I abselutely LOVE the case! Who is the maker and model number?

  • Antec makes it.

  • ugh.

I've got everything connected and hopefully working. besides my damn power switch cable. Yes, I can't turn this thing on without it. Yes, I have no idea where it's supposed to go. Where do I put it? In the motherboard (can't find any 2 bit slots)? In the hard drive, which only has an 8-bit slot remaining? I've got an ABS Diablo case and a Western Digital hard drive. Oh, and an ASRock M3A780GXH mobo. I would appreciate any help.

  • it's definitely on the mobo, check up on the mobo's manual

  • Excellent..... to understand in simple words.

  • The most important thing you need to know about a computer, that it's a puzzle. If some parts do not fit togheter, it won't work.

  • Puzzles don't blow up if you get them wrong.

  • Yeah, lol

Hey does that part fit there? BAAAM

  • Question: wouldn't you install motherboard/other component drivers first, and then the operating system?

  • No, because you need an operating system to be able to install the drivers for the other parts

  • oh. Ok.

I seem to remember having to install CD/DVD burner drivers or something.

  • LOL

  • Hey guys i'm replacing my motherboard will I still have windows XP then? Or is it on the hard drive?

  • It is on the HDD, you might need drivers for the new motherboard for XP.

  • Where would I get them? My computer came preinstalled with XP but i've been upgrading as its shit and would like to replace the motherboard because of it being a Socket 939.

  • Try Mirosoft website or the company mother boardboard website.

  • hdd

  • could you install mac os x on a "home made" computer

  • no, mac only sells sets already built

  • why the hell would you want os x? :S ghey x)

    (Microsoft Fanboy) :P

  • hackintosh

  • Check Piratebay ;)

  • lol installing takes like 45min and building like 30min

  • yep this dude is right, building your own computer is cheaper than the premade ones...

  • thats not always the case, but for the most part, yes

  • jajaj that xp cd its re pirata jaja

  • DO you install motherboard first, or video card?

  • motherboard

  • Hahahah nice keyboard :P

  • If I were a beginner I should ask this, how did he knew what processor/RAM and Vidcard is compatible with the mobo? What is the jumper he said earlier about the optical drive? How do you configure the BIOS? The OS? This vid needs a more detailed version, and please, make it a single vid and not chop the vid to pieces!!

  • Is it cheaper to build one or buy one?

  • depends. for a gaming/enthusiast pc, build. With a buisness/regular home its probably cheaper to buy.

  • couple of hours assmbly? god dayum!!! i got put the freakin thing 30 mins max on a bad day

  • Record is 3 mins

  • never knew it was'nt complicated like building an airbus, great video!!!!

  • Howd you spend an hour loading and configuring the software? you just put the cd in and out and it was loaded, wtf....

  • ...

  • yeah but windows does get updates... and when i've formated my comp i had to dload all the updates from microsoft

  • thanks now i know how to build a pc and it looks easy

  • nice pirated version of windows, its always fun having those around :)

  • can get for about 100 dollars. Yes.

  • it's not the same case u fucking retard

    lol

  • thanx man

    ure coool....!!!!

    ure really a genius....!!!!!

were did u get dat cabinet...??

  • Ofc they built old pc, they are not allowed to show any kinda "new" cards as GTX 280 or something.

and its just video to show how build pc not how waste 1500euros on making nerds best friend.

  • its the same case you dickhead

  • soz that was meant for other guy

  • made because he made cash of making it? retard.

  • did you see that LOL

its windows 95 he put in there!!!

  • Excellent set of videos. Thank you very much.

  • i learned more from this video serious then 3 month's of my A+ certification class

  • agree, i got the computer repair 1 certificate but never look inside a computer case

  • pretty understandable

  • Wow, is that wireless? I didn't see him plug any cables ;)

  • after u built the computer...power it up then set the times and dates and other settings. Then insert an OS operating cd in the CD-rom then install that (I recommend you use xp than vista) then. After those are installed install the Harddrives for RAM, Video Card, etc. To install harddrives for the Ram, Video Cards, etc., Put the cd that came with those and thats it.

  • or use linux

  • linux sucks dude. wtf? why would you even say that?

  • linux doesnt suck man

  • nah, linux pwns.

Microsoft isn't bad either. Its just vista. VISTA IS CRAP!

Windows 7 and XP is ok though.

  • windows 7 i heard was off the chain

too bad i was too late to download the beta

    i am so mad

  • it was, and you can always download it from the torrents. you can PM me for a serial key.

  • how does vista suck?

  • whats windows 7ß

  • Microsoft's newest operating system... You can download the beta at the Microsoft website if you want. I'm not downloading just because it's a beta and might have some bugs, but if you have a second computer or something, its worth a shot....

  • Tsk, its already a Release Candidate (RC) it is almost fully working from what I've heard. The Beta phase has already been passed. Game support is also good, so there are more pros than cons, to why pick Windows 7 now.

  • Oh, OK, not really up to date on that

  • Not a problem, just thought that someone could skip Windows 7 if he/she thinks that its all too buggy :)

  • OMG I saw that all 8(

  • holy shit ive been looking forever on a problem i have with the bios screen but he doesnt explain it at all

  • I would laugh if right when said time for the moment of truth and presses the power and nothing happens.

  • He was grounded by the massive table, which I can assure you was grounded. You don't need those anti-static wrist straps or mats if you know what you're doing, you're grounded by some other means, and you're not trying to assemble your computer on a carpet wearing wool socks on a cold day in the winter. It's actually pretty tough to mess up a motherboard with static electricity. I've built 4 computers in recent years and never had any problems. (I use a wrist strap though, just to be safe xD)

  • I've built a computer on carpet before

    barely grounded myself

    and it worked perfectly

that was the first time i built one though

every other time i wasn't so reckless

  • Exactly :)

It's pretty tough to mess up something with static electricity alone. But nevertheless, it's good to just be safe.

  • just to ask, is it safe to create a computer on a wooden desk?

  • Yes it is safe to build it on a Wooden desk or table top. Id highly suggest installing your power supply in to your case plugging it in to the wall (power switch on the back of the PSU turned off) and using a wrist strap connected to your computer case to ground your self just to be safe.

just to enplane why: By plugging the PSU in you are grounding the PSU due to the 3rd prong on the power cord. PSU is installed in the case the case is then grounded as well.

  • yes, thank u for all the videos!!! but i bought a motherboard with amd socket and an intel processor. what do i do next? pls help SOS

  • Your gona need an AMD prossesor. Just sell the Intel on e-bay. Also as a bonus AMD CPU's are cheaper than intel.

  • You either return the mobo, or the cpu? and change with appropriate part?

  • problem solved... i sold them both

  • you will need to get another processor or another motherboard

  • you have to return the processer because intel and amd dont go together! it wont work. make sure you read the specs on the motherboard for what processers it takes.

  • thanks for these videos!!!! thanks very much
