  • So what ? You guys just took the $ & ran. Who wrote this anyway? Your gifted lyrics touched us then but now hearing it again how did you know about reflections at such a young age?

  • THATS WHEN MUSIC WAS GREAT

  • Wonderful -- great song

  • Well done and thank you for finding and posting this! Amazing song by a truly fantastic group. Really wish they'd re-form with as many of the original members as possible, particularly Dean Ford. Enduring quality - beautiful melodies, harmonies and lyrics. Nice one!

  • Very nice... so beautiful...

  • I'd love for these guys to join up with Left Banke and tour again. Artistic music..hard to get these days.

  • Wish I could have seen this live. Of course, I was only 9 in 1970... Anyway, I'm glad someone recorded this concert clip for all of us to enjoy so many years better. Great singing, great guitar work, great band.

  • I love this...

  • os caras estão bem chapados véio .Fumaram todas hehehehe

  • It is all about Viet Nam

  • @carolmady44 I'd be surprised if it was. I know Vietnam vets picked up on it but Vietnam wasn't a huge thing in Scotland in the 1970s - i remember nothing at the time re any Vietnam connection and always just took it as he wrote it - personal

  • Just watched this, and a few other posts of the same song. Takes me back to playing in a 'cover' band in 1970 and learning this solo. Getting the tone and sustain, AND trying to simulate the 'backward' effect was a challenge at the time - but enjoyable.

  • wow wow beautiful - original Dean Ford !!!

  • look up dean ford and the gaylords for old vids ;)

  • dean ford and the gaylords b4 the marmalade if i rem :) brill song god brings back memories to Hamilton dancing

  • dean ford and the gaylords b4 the marmalade if i rem :) brill song

  • I love this song. It´s makes remember my father. These are songs that I never want to forget it.

  • I like the two timbres he uses--first a soft simple one , then the sharper more strident voice. Excellent musicianship and singing

  • @CattailsandRoses Yeah isn't that amazing? I guess when you have such a gifted voice it's relatively easy to do it and for the rest...the losers..well that's why there's grunge and rap. Who needs talent to make it in the modern industry?

  • GReat BAss LIne HEre!

  • Great song - Always one of my favorites. The only live version I've seen. Thanks for posting!!!

  • gran video gracias por compartirlo

  • Alan Whitehead (drummer in this video) has a comment on Marmalade Dean Ford - Singer/Songwriter facebook page "might be Germany..first film i have seen when Iam using my premier drum kit and not my painted ludwig..I used this kit for touring so its somewhere on tour and we finished our set with Reflections..great find!"

  • @scotsbimbo Thanks SO much for researching this!! I found the page, and he also added that the year was 1970. I will change the info here :)
