So for example, if you see 4 persons in one clip, they could be all the same person. That's how Twisted Metal works,

Well, it wasn`t really a selfish wish. The idea that someone`s wish was to return to their state of death or "Slumber" was pretty hard to find an alternate meaning to. Most people want material prizes or to reverse what fate had in store for them. Shadow just wanted to die peacefully and calypso does enjoy killing the winner with their wish or at least tormenting them.

Geez, that always pissed me off how the contestants can never give their wish as simply as Mortimer's they always have to so it in a more indirect way so that he can fuck with it. Atleast mortimer got to "live" happily ever after. [btw, is it me or does mortimer look just like calypso, except more decrepit?]
