  • Unglaublich

  • Hell, I'd buy one for sure. <3

  • /watch?v=BcTq-jOdPaQ

  • cute. is that elevator like remote controlled?

  • lol the cats face when he gets out is: what the fuck? did i go back in time?

  • /watch?v=BcTq-jOdPaQ

  • Seriously amazing.

  • haha

  • .....................................

    wow....

  • You sir, are a genius

  • Faule Katze! ;-)

  • You are so kind to do this for your cat! And people think MY cat is spoilt!

  • This is brilliant!

  • ooHHH I Want one for my cat !!!!! :D

  • Comment removed

  • Ccooooll

  • How does it work?

  • genial ! :D

  • Should I train the cat before setup this lift?

  • lol so cute that is a dedicated cat owner

  • it's probably also a rat lift

  • Amazing and total unnecessary.

  • why not dogs?

  • your gonna regret this idea when the neighborhood racoons figure it out haha.

  • if EVER a video deserved a `like` then this is that video...<3

  • This shouldn't be operated by the cat.

It should be operated by a hamster in a little unfiorm.

  • @puppybeard G.I. Hamster

  • the cat only needs her own car now.

  • Great job

  • Wow so cool

  • Wow dude this is really cool!

  • geil.=)

  • swag

  • What a brave and clever kitty!

  • Usually, we don't have the personal elevator from 2th floor to 1th, which means we are a race below that cat on vedio lol.

  • does it also automatically lift the cat to the upside when he gets in the cabin, so he can come back to house?

  • @pacwomann

    yes, of course.

  • you really need to be listening to the thunderbirds theme whilst watching this... makes it so much better :D

  • Bravo!!! This is an amazing machine!!

  • How long did it take your cat to figure that out and use it regularly?

  • @RageTreb

i think two weeks... food did it :-)

  • He b like Wtf dis?

  • LIKE A BOSS!!!!

  • In the end the cat is like : wtf where am i?

  • Where can i buy this? Or is it your own creation? This solution is perfect for my cat!

  • @avonmiau

it´s customized. 800 Euro and you will get it...

  • @CrazyMrJohn

800? looks like a garage door mechanism with a box attached to me... ~100

  • @plaugewolf

You need a few more parts than a single garage door opener. Lasercutted metalframe, glass cutted out for the catflap, the catflap itself, some electronic circuits to control the elevator and lock the door,...

Not even for a homemade elvator using second hand parts 100euro will be enough...

  • u better have this patentet : D

  • great! ity amazing. your cat can go out.

  • VERY GOOOD !!!! :D

  • Cat: oh f*ck! Spotted when i broke in!

  • Very good thing! I'm thinking of doing an elevator for my dog too. She's a Ducshund (I guess it's right) and she can't go up and down stairs all the time. It will wave center opening doors and smooth 2-speed stop.

  • So süss. Aller aller bestes Katzenvideo auf der Wel!

  • That's funny. Completely unnecessary, but I like it.

  • Can't it just jump down?

  • @Jspeterson

the lift automatically locks the door...

  • so nice haha

  • My kitty would have freaked out and ripped that thing to shreads. lol, but that seems awesome!

  • CrazyMrJohn, Just wondering if you plan to sell this cat lift to the public at some point? Please post your answer! I think it is a brilliant invention. Your next chip for more than one cat in the lift, able to access different floors, is also so inventive. If the prototype is ready, please post a video of it in action! Thanks for posting this video! Just wonderful!

  • @Cre8iveStar

    i´m workin on some improvements...

  • i'll never forget this thing made by CRAZY Mr.John, appreciate ^^

  • its all fun and games until the cat experiences gravity lol

  • thats brilliant!!

  • Lucky kitty and the coolest cat owner ever! My cats are jealous!

  • I saw the gif picture

  • Best cat thing EVVAAAR! holy shitt :O

  • OMG, This is the poshed cat ever.. has his own lift how cool is that? awesome!! lol

  • very impressive.

you mention using an RFID chip... there are cat doors that do that. so why not rig one of those doors into the delay mechanism? they read the cat's microchip, so you can only allow certain cats into it.

oh, and will there ever be a how-to? this would go great on instructables.

  • What happens if the cat falls? Can he call the elevator?

  • That is really cool stuff. And who says dogs are smarter than cats? ☠

  • it runs on mass effect elevator technology

  • dude you have way to much time on your hands , You must have been stoned out of your face to come up with shit like this. How bout inventing me a time machine?.

  • Comment removed

  • WIN

  • seems like a small platform could be built that extends the top deck to the entrance of the elevator. the cat has a tricky bit of navigation,

  • The cats like "Wait......This isnt my floor.."

  • That is so cool.

  • Luv iit!

  • now program it to slam into the ground at 100mph

  • @DarkShogun16 Only with you in it.

  • it is good build and it is easy to make but it cost much

its realy good design i wish it culd be in the shop for cats

    own shop to cats XD

nice build and have a nice day

  • LOL so spoiled

  • Ihre Katze ist so glücklich einen genial und Genius Mensch wie sie zu haben!

  • You gotta be kidding me! This is awesome!!!

  • when he comes out down..hes like...WTF?! O_O...no more catnip for me!...

  • hahahahaha

  • Next stop: HAL, Cat Ves 2.0

  • nice i bet the cat burglars love this ;)

  • ma axer zaman kwa

  • Comment removed

  • I'm impressed!

  • Yep, elevator music next! Fab for cats living in apartments and high rise blocks, can't wait to see your next move. I think many people would be very interested in buying one of these you should patent it!

  • cool!!!

  • toto, i have a feeling we're not in the garden anymore!

  • This is brilliant!

  • Ska tipsa grannen...

  • Did you invent this or did you buy this?

My cat is not even able to use the catflap, I had to take the catflap door away and leave just the hole in the door!

  • Awesome!

  • Amazing! What a creative inventor you are, CrazyMrJohn. I love it. :)

  • Imagined the cat looking around "Oh no, what's happening, everything is moving!" then

    "What's that noise!"

"...what's going on... one moment I'm up high and... is this the ground?"

*cat walks away low to the ground unsure that it really is the ground*

  • HAHA the cat gets out thinking... "what the fuck just happened?!" so cute :)

  • I love it!!!

  • This is awesome! :)

  • Супер :)))

  • We are living in a day and age where Cats have advanced technology!

  • For fat cats

  • this is the coolest freakin thing i have ever seen

  • @CocoMunky Get a life then fuckface.

  • hhhhhhhhhhh

  • You who didn't understand are simply retarded

  • Now you know a free entrance when you wanna break into his/her house

  • You must be one small person to fit inside that tiny box!

  • @uzhi idiot

  • lucky they named the adress

  • This is just too cool!

It's so cute, if you look while it's going down the cat appears to be cleaning it's paws. ^.^

  • really rad!

  • I HAS A CONFUSION!

  • I didn't even look at the details here... I found this via a japanese friend. The place looks so clean, I thought it was Japan, but it's funny because now that I see how BIG the house is, it's def. NOT japan! ^_^ meeeow!

  • only in Japan!

  • That seems to be Germany, actually. The roof tiles look typical, and the Uploader wrote his info in German.

  • Very good innovation ! Cat will like this too.

Just one question, does the cat really activate the movement by pressing a button or does the lift start by itself a few seconds after the door is closed?

Waiting for the elevator-goes-up movie as well.

  • @lynnpype The lift is sensor activated and starts automatically with a delay of a few second. The cat only has to enter the lift - that´s it!

I´m about to develop an other solution with RFID chip to recognize more than one cat an transport it to the accurate floor...

  • @CrazyMrJohn

that is genious- have u managed that?

  • @CrazyMrJohn first time i have seen a cat lift. very innovative.

  • WOW!

  • Oh look, a cat in a box.

  • Excellent, an ingenious piece of engineering, and very useful too, the applications could be many and varied. For example, I live in a second floor apartment. There are four doors to get through to exit the building, so keeping a cat is not practical. Having a brilliant device like this would mean I could get to have a cat. 10/10 to you CrazyMrJohn for your inventiveness and skill. Its a great little video; I would so enjoy seeing one where your fine cat returns home and goes up in the lift.

  • this is so wonderful!!!! ive been trying to figure out how to have a way for my cat to get in and out of the house without letting skunk, raccoon, or other animals inside my house (which has happened, while i was sleeping!; both a racoon and a skunk at the same time! hahahaha). thanks for this!!!! where can i buy one or get the technical drawings? i could have a regular cat door on a door to an upstairs deck... PURRRFECT!

  • Sorry, let me ask again: How did you teach the cat about the function and the usage of the lift? did you train your cat or did she by herself learn how to use it and what's the benefit of it?

This is awesome - even if I somehow agree that it would be pointless at last.

  • @McTheaven

Bevore installation i feed the cat inside the cabin. So she´s got used to the procedure of step in an out.

When the lift was installed i put some food inside, and the cat stepped inside.

After a few procedures like this the cat figured out the advantage of the cabin resp. the lift - to reach the garden :-)

  • @CrazyMrJohn

    Thanks a lot ! V

  • How can she know it is a "lift" ?

  • To answere some questions:

The catflap is locked bevore the elevator moves. That´s also the reason why the elevator has a fully closed cabin-the cat is not able to leave bevore the lift stops...

    Plank will be installed soon.

  • @CrazyMrJohn there's breathing holes I'm assuming right lol?

  • at the beginning of the video it looks like the bottom is just going to drop out.

  • I would've liked an explanation in side-bar why this was absolutely necessary to have. Other than that it's really cool.

  • Excellente invention, it's so cute ! So beautiful !

Bravo à l'invneteur, je ne connaissais pas !

  • so cute

  • hahah sure the cat thinks at the end : "what the f**ck???" so funny

  • OMG, that's awesome. I want one! And I don't even have a cat!

  • That is so damn cute!

  • Nice!

  • why does ther have to be 1 ?

  • i think im not the only one, who thinks this thing is pointless.

  • i dont doubt that...i jst think in a world where usually everything has to b practical or is pointless..its nice to have some pointless things :) btw im not normally this positive heh

  • Next step, elevator music...

  • I like how the cat comes out at the end like "What the...? I didn't go into the box here!"

  • lol!!!

  • What if there's another under the lift ??

    pwnd

    lulz

  • Oh, I'm sure a simple sensor could be added there.

  • Another what? Cat?

You don't know cats very well ... a cat under the lift would be long gone before the lift got anywhere near it, unless Kitty is dead or friggin comatose.

  • Great job!!

  • Good job♪

  • Amazing little invention ... your cat thanks you for it. =^..^=

  • Kitty looks a bit confused ... I'm sure he'll get the hang of it, though, with practice.

I agree with classic 7890 - the cat needs a little plank that leads to the elevator door. I'd hate to see him fall trying to get inside.

  • @ergooden The plank also needs to be attached to the elevator, or the cat could stick its head out of the flap and get strangled when the lift went down.... or decapitated. o_o

  • I'm guessing the motor doesn't have that level of force... worse case, the cat gets stuck, but strangling is unlikely and decapitation far out there. And, surely, the cat has the reflexes of...

  • Well, the description says "infra red catflap", so I'm thinking maybe the elevator will not operate unless the flap is down ... still, I see your point. Maybe Crazy Mr John can enlighten us.
