Vocaloid is amazing because it's a PROGRAM. Unless you're deaf, (and you must be to call that band "original"), you should have noticed that. Vocaloid isn't "pop drivel", as you call it. Vocaloid is EVERY and ANY genre that the CREATOR makes it. It lets the listener create what he/she considers original/beautiful instead of having to settle completely with what trash is already in the music industry.

JPOP is way more tasteful than that rock crap that you talk so highly about. The reason you keep finding JPOP with vocaloid is because it was DESIGNED for JPOP, though it's purpose can vary.

Simply put: An old vocoder set to a computer. What a cute novelty! I see why otaku love it so. No one need bother with talent. All so called professional musicians can just quite their bands and sell their instruments now.

My initial comment was on the mislabeling of the video, but Then Ninjawolf decided to turn it into an odd fight over what is better, an actual band or a computer program. Which is like fighting over whether B.B. King or his guitar Lucile is the better musician.
