Stoyanova is a fine musician! She was a fine violinist leader of a leading orchestra before taking over with the singing! What a voice , what a tallent, what a woman!

Ruggero Raimondi is truly magnificent here, as he is in all his roles! He doesn't merely perform a role--he enters the character and becomes him.

This is a performance form 2003 in Salzburg, and there is a DVD of very good quality available through Premiere Opera.

This is the greatest performance of Antonia's Death I've ever seen and heard! Krassimira Stoyanova's voice is marvellous, and the staging is wonderful.
