Depends on the engine. a Vtec-e kicks in at a low RPM. but a B16a2 kicks in at 5800, and a B16b kicks in at 6500 RPM..

I'm not talking out of my ass dude, the Z3 oil pump isn't able to provide oil to the engine properly above 8600rpm's, and a dual valve spring upgrade is always a good idea, the cars my daily driver and I can't afford catastrophic failure

That is the imobiliser symbol.

It's because the ecu has been replaced and needs to be taken to honda in order to have it decoded again.

k-pro is the best mod for the civic - even if it is the only mod you do

yee if its a K series engine a K-Pro aint gonna do much good in a ek9 civic type r with a b16 in it lol u need a Hondata S300 which is best for all Bseries engines.. im running one now best thing about them is an easy tune tru ur own laptop.. AND LAUNCH CONTROL WONDONDONDONDON BRAAAAAA

Dude you're not making ANY power after 8 grand.

If it's taking you over 30 seconds to hit 160mph, this is by all accounts a slow car.

Upgrade to a longer final drive & 1st gear, and start shifting at 8k.

The green light (key immobilizer) is flashing because of the new programmable ECU from Hondata, aka Kpro. Kpro owners are stuck with the flashing unless you take into Honda / Acura to get it re-matched.

when you fit k-pro you need to get key fob re-programmed with new ECU from Honda dealer. if you don't the key transponder flashes, might also affect immobilizer.
