haha about a week ago i scraped myself with a rusty pipe and it kind of scared me so i decided to look it up. As it turns put you only get sick if that surface has been in contact with any dirt or if its really dirty. The pipe was like 6ft high so i think i should be ok

For treatment though, you should have also mentioned the anti-TeNT Ig (the anti-tetanospasmin immunoglobulin) for the immediate application, and also some kind of anti-convulsant (most commonly Diazepam), plus isolation in the dark, quiet room (since any kind of sensory stimulation can lead to painful spasms/convulsions). :)

just a tip: the first step in treatment is serotherapy with antitetanic serum, so that the exotoxine can be neutralized, and after that all the other steps: cleaning the wound; antibiotic treatment;vaccine... otherwise it's pretty cool
