I just found it quite boring except some scenes where there was actually something interesting happening and not just talk talk talk or walkin' around...such as the scenes with richard-ben-monster and the ones in the temple...other than that, what?The alt timeline is completely useless (at least for now). I hope this was just a warm-up for the rest of the season regarding story telling...I love this show but yesterday, I' d say it let me down. Sorry for my English...Greek guy here :P

Well LOST is great at it's dialog. If you don't like the talk talk talk then you should watch other shows, LOST is not a action packed show. What makes movie or any other shows great is that the plot and story makes it great.

I think people misunderstood my comment on the talk talk talk thing...actually what I mean was I REALLY don't mind the dialogues as long as they are not pointless and fillers. Let me give you an example. When the monster was talking to Ben about Locke, or him wanting to get back "home" that was honestly "good stuff". The mythology an plot is why I wathced it in the first place. As for the action, don't tell me LOST did not invlolve action in a great part of it. Those people had loads of guns.

From Jack and the Losties, to the Others, Rousseau, even the freighters. Almost everyone carried a gun...and guns=action :) Anyway...that doesn't mean I gave up on this show...there are about 15 episodes left so...hopefully, more and more awesome stuff are about to come up!

presuming jack's bomb detonated and 're-set" everything, there should be 1) An alternative reality where they are back on the plane (what we saw in the first four minutes of the pilot) and 2) Present day 2007, where Ben, Imposter Locke and Sun are. I've heard somebody say that they saw a commercial with Sawyer yelling at Jack "You were wrong!" in his Dharma gear, so if this is true, then perhaps Jack merely CREATED an alternative reality, but they are actually still stuck in 1977...
