I haven't flown a lot in my life. My first major flight (12 hours) was with Lufthansa. I was quite satisfied - nothing special, but awesome for the price I paid. Next year I flew the same itinerary with United...dear god... it was TERRIBLE! The plane looked like no one cleaned it in eons, the flight attendant rolled over that cart over my foot 3 times - and the price was higher!

If you have any plans on taking a comfortable plane with adequate inflight entertainment, never never NEVER fly with lufthansa. Impossible to even access the meal table if the front pax is reclined. All i can say is, Lufthansa is far behind from those comfortable flight that you desire. Worst of the worst. Especially their boeinG 777 its terrible, Little legroom, if your a 6 footer, forget abt taking lufthansa. you will die of poor blood circulation...Never economy.. -SUBSTANDARD-

@sar0gf That's incorrect. Lufthansa does not have a 777. Here's proof: Go to Google.com and in the search bar, type in "Lufthansa fleet," and click enter. Click on the first link down. That's the Lufthansa website showing their whole fleet, and there is no 777 there at all. A lot of people know this.

Are you sure you weren't in another aircraft that you thought was a 777? The A330 looks similar to it even though usually people can tell the two apart.

i heard that theres quite alot of complain about lufthansa airlines. Also, you can google lufthansa airline quality, if its a more reliable source. Economy and first calss are all of 3 star only buisnessclass is ranked 4 star. And, it might just be so conincident that most of you sat buiness class instead of frist and economy class. They have little inflight entertainment,little leg space, hard and solid seats, defintely no seat recline. Imposible for one to enjoy for a whole 12 hr. Terrible.
