umm he uses blood capsules. little tablet like things and when you bite them fake blood comes out. not sure what the blood is made of though.

Hey!  great question. He actually usea a mix of eggs, strawberry yoghurt, red food coloring (amongst other things). It's pre-cooked and he takes a big gulp without swallowing, then he builds up with his 'show' and then spits it out. The fans go wild!

greetings, good question... it's a part of his stage act that he developed from the early days i believe he spat blood (fake blood) as early as 1974. If you note his costume,m he has 'wings' like a bat.
