This is England was shot in Nottingham (including areas from both Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire) and Grimsby. But lol it is funny when people look at Nottingham and the North Midlands. They go: "God, I thought that was up North!". Not at all, lol. The Midlands has its shit holes like the North.

Nottingham, despite what the southern-biased television media report it to be, is actually a very nice place.
