Then again MTV did give us Beavis and Butthead which would eventually lead the way to King of the Hill. But today, yeah Moron TV might sum it all up. Since the establishment of the internet and of course You Tube, MTV, VH1 et al are all now a distant memory. They had their time thouhg and made their mark.

observations: incredible how at the time the VJs looked much older than me, now they look like little kids; the Mountain Dew commercial looks like a liability waiting to happen (those were still the days when people were still physically active, and didnt bruise like a peach so easily); i hated that Who song because MTV killed it in rotation - now it sounds like great rock music again; that hunger commercial was a harbinger of things to come.

I would air current mainstream music Monday through Friday, B & B everynight for one hour, '80s videos every Friday night from 5 to 2 am, '70s videos and disco Saturdays and '60s music on Sundays.
