I have this ame buggy with the motor out now. My plan is for and older Honda CB400 or 500 motor. I would be very greatful to get some exact plans on how you did the drive shaft.
@IIILEGRANGIII The gk-13 comes with a F-N-R gearbox. The 02' gsxr 750 comes with a 6 speed transmission. I left the F-N-R gear box on the frame and hooked the chain from the bike motor to the input shaft of the F-N-R transmission. Giving you 6 gears in foward and 6 gears in reverse. Very few buggy(s) with street bike engines have reverse. But mine does. Hope this answers your question.
@Ducanasty Well, if putting a 750 street bike motor in a off road go-kart, that has six gears and reverse is making "it" a shifter kart then I suppose I did... Thanks for watching!
@sidhucer00789 Bought it from a friend that had parted out his bike. The motor didnt run right and the transmission had to be rebuilt and he was not sure how to fix either problem. So I bought it and rebuilt the tranny and went through an extensive amount of research and trial and error to find out it was the fuel pump causing it to run poorly. Now it runs like a champ!

it has an external F N R. if you put a motorcycle engine in it you would have 6 speeds in reverse.
