There are a few videos/pictures of Lions/Tigers killing Crocodiles but hardly any of Crocs doing the same. Theres even a video of a female Tiger flipping a 14ft croc on its back and biting its neck killing it on YT. Even big Crocs are frequently killed by Hippos.

The video you are referring to, involves a very old, and sick crocodile during a drought fighting against a fully grown healthy tiger. Hardly a fair fight. Crocodiles are very strong, and a single strike from their tail can break a cats leg, and prevent it from hunting, the cats know this and would never attack a full grown healthy crocodile.

I have heard about this lion pride. Thy take down buffalo on a regular basis, but not alone unless it is a calf. The reason this pride takes down buffaloes is because it is the only animal around.
i am not taking nothing away from Lions, they do show courage and fighting big prey as buffalo and crocs. But they are also smart any injury to a member of pride can hurt them while hunting, as a wounded leg or jaw. The Okavango Water Lions which are known to be hugh are known to singlely take down buffaloes on a regular basis.

I have heard about this lion pride. Thy take down buffalo on a regular basis, but not alone unless it is a calf. The reason this pride takes down buffaloes is because it is the only animal around.

i am not taking nothing away from Lions, they do show courage and fighting big prey as buffalo and crocs. But they are also smart any injury to a member of pride can hurt them while hunting, as a wounded leg or jaw. Even a Girafffe or Zebra can possibly kill or injure a lion with a good kick, so they are brave in challenging them. But u said one on one, a Lion can take a Rhino, that i have to see.

It may very well depend on how daring the lion is. Tigers have been known to stalk and hunt crocs, including jumping in the water after them. Lions aren't as much a water cat as a croc, but if that hungry, or that angry, a lion might very well take it in the water.

i knows lions are good hunters but how this man compares 4 lions to 1 croc? Lions will only attack very large prey in groups as hipps, buffalo, or small elephants never one on one. Also the king of beast wont take on a Rhino even with the pride

it's only the lionesses who are really good hunters in their prides...
a male lion would certainly attack a crocodile if it thought the crocodile was a threat, and all things considered if it was on land the lion would win.
also a male lion have attacked rhinos alone and killed them.
please don't underestimate their title of 'king' this was not a name given to them by disney... on the savanna they run things... and are arguably the most deadly carnivore.

I have seen numerous instances where even a pride of lions have refused to fight with a black or white rhino. In fact, only young rhinos or sick rhinos would ever be attacked by a pride it is seldom. Rhino's weigh a few thousand pounds. If you check YT u will see lions runaway from Rhinos and there is even a report of a Rhino killing a male lion with his horn.

because the only time a lion pride refuses to attack a rhino is when an adult male is not present.
and there have been quite a few reports of lions killing healthy adult rhinos.

Please submit links to your anedotal evidence. Find a YT video showing one lion killing Rhino. I once saw 8 male lions not even bother to fight a fully grown white rhino. Indian Rhinos are smaller & a full grown bengal tiger occassionaly challenges them, but Black Rhinos and White Rhinos even fight Elephants. On exeter there was 1 case where 6 male lions killed a sick white rhino who was injured. I saw a doc where it said only a handful of rhinos were killed by a pride in 30yrs-due to injury

A African male lion cannot kill a adult rhino because the rhino is surprisingly quick just like a hippo, the lion will have to try and get around the rhinos horn to get to the rump, and then the lion will have to bring down a very large animal by its self. Do you realize how hard it is for a single lion to bring down a adult African buffalo.

a rhino is quick, but it is not quick enough to get around a lion.
and no, a lion will first go for the rump, and if it doesn't work it will go for the neck.
african lionesses bring down water buffalo by themselves, they also bring it down in groups too.
a rhino is not too much heavier on average than a savanna buffalo, or much more powerful.
the biggest differences are the rhinos thick hide and dense bones.
but a lion only uses 20% of it's jaw power to close a buffalos windpipe.

it's not that rare, and the only reason you don't see it more is because they hunt in groups.
one buffalo is enough to feed a standard 2 male and 6 female pride, so they bring it down together.
and now you've admitted lionesses bring down buffalos by themselves please consider how much stronger a male lion is, it's common to see them fighting 4 females at once.
a rhino is more powerful ON AVERAGE, but it is not much more powerful.

It is rare, a lion will rather prey on a gazelle or a zebra over a African buffalo. A rhino is a strong and tough prey choice for any predator.

And African lions usually live near wildebeest and zebra herds, which they prey on. Mainly African lions only hunt African buffalo if its the dry season. And how can you be so ignorant? The rhino has no predators when its a adult.
