I don't think it was their intention to make fun of MJ but rather highlight his shy naivete & his childish charm. As for Flex, give the guy a break. What a hard role to play! I think he did a pretty good job considering the script he was given. The movie itself isn't very good is the problem. It does show his kindness & charity & I believe that is very important.
