i actually made something like that but little but better andf more realistic i stil havfe to figure out how to aniate and record in there the blender
bit long, but did you know when you put softbody on and then (when plane selected) press just right of the 'soft object' enable button, press 1.particle system. You can set a sooth wind and then its cool :P
My guess is, you just have to get the settings alright for a realtime expression in the engine, because you'll need a very strong computer to do that amount of particles in realtime.
Ya, and now I am working on smoking the carpet. Done with particles that must resemble smoke, so no drugs in real life, it you're wondering. And you're not.
heheh... a lot has changed :)

Well, thanks, man.
At the time I was so excited I managed to make static carpet material... I lost it all :D

whats Blender????
I Need To Know
thekoolkid97 3 years ago
Blender. Home appliance that cuts and mixes from food to wiimotes and golf clubs.
Blender. 3D software (plus some other stuff I can't recall now).
agent47crows 3 years ago
you used the particle system... i like the partical system.
guitar564 3 years ago
Eh... early editions of the code, where you didn't have many options. Kids these days... they have fur rendering and baking.
WITH THE BRAND NEW 2.47.
Get it today.
(I'd be so great as a tele-marketer!)
agent47crows 3 years ago
i downloaded bldender 2.47 yesterday
guitar564 3 years ago

who told you to buy it? :P hehe
47hitman474747 3 years ago
Aye aye, thanks, dude... but really, we can all do better these days.
In all fairness, though, at the time of the render, to obtain realistic grass you'd have to add curves and stuff... Thanks.
agent47crows 3 years ago
try 3d max.. hair and fure..
47hitman474747 3 years ago
Well, you do realize I am not buying that any time soon, right? Blender being free AND legal, it's all great for now!
agent47crows 3 years ago
cool, well done :D What version do you have?
ArtisticArts 3 years ago
Hm... at that time, I think it was 2.42a .
Things changed with the time, but I reckon I couldn't do much better now, I never got serious with particles and stuff.
agent47crows 3 years ago
And thanks for the feedback!
agent47crows 3 years ago
dude that's just some green crap spinning for 17 seconds
R4Zy3L 3 years ago
Agreed, but can you do better now?
agent47crows 3 years ago
viva pinata is a cool game and yes it does look like it lol nice job
perferstrategy 3 years ago
Right!
So, I'll check it!
agent47crows 3 years ago
It´s not really realistic. I think u could use hair for doing it
batatacara 4 years ago
Yea, well, that's what I thought when I saw other grass fields.
agent47crows 4 years ago
nice looking grass. Better then my experiments. :D
ZachLOVESAubrey 4 years ago
Still, experiments are better than nothing. :)
agent47crows 4 years ago
are u using vertex painting, to randomize the size of grass blade
piroman665 4 years ago
No, I am using the particle settings, but that's a very good idea, though. Thanks, I think it'll give more accurate results.
agent47crows 4 years ago
It looks like Viva Pinata grass!!! :D
good job!
SomeOneInaHat 4 years ago 2
ummm...this probly gunna sound dumb..but how did u do that??in anyway??
mista8ball 4 years ago
Well, if you have Blender, I just toyed with the settings on particles, till I got what I wanted.
If you don't use Blender and don't have any experience with 3D whatsoever, um... I'm a magician!!
agent47crows 4 years ago
OMG IVE BEEN TRYING TO DO THAT FOR SO LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
plzzz plzz agent47 give me so hints or a tutorial on how you got those results???? it looks like you had bloom too omg>.< plz save me

Check out his hair tut and do it to a plane.

easy as that!
PivotJoel 4 years ago
Very cool! Is stuff like that possible in the GE?
MetalliCopper 4 years ago
Well, I guess yea, why wouldn't it be in GE too?
My guess is, you just have to get the settings alright for a realtime expression in the engine, because you'll need a very strong computer to do that amount of particles in realtime.
But it can be done.
agent47crows 4 years ago
No, The BGE doesn't support particles. If you push "P", the particles disappear, and you are left with just the mesh. Nice video by the way.
tarkata14 4 years ago
Right.
agent47crows 4 years ago
WOW!!! O_O Nice use of Particles! Did U use particles on it? GREAT job agaiN!
carpenoctem66 4 years ago
Damn right I did! But the scales are off by much, I mean, I had to use 0.04 size to get that grass.
agent47crows 4 years ago
I've done a move like that before cool though
