Hecate or Hekate the goddess of witchcraft and cross-roads, the goddess of victory, thee goddess of gates, the goddess of the dark side of the moon, the goddess protectress of her children or her worshippers and of little ones, she is also known as the tripple goddess (the maiden, the mother, and the crone), she is the goddess of wisdom, she also has some power over the heavens- earth- and underworld. she is my goddess. blessed be.
I personaly worship Hekate. She can be a very demanding goddess, and very loving. She is my protector, my mother, and when my time comes, my savior. The goddess of the Cross-roads. Life...Death...and Magick. She is also very fond of dogs. Call to her for healing and protection by going to a three-way crossroads with a torch of mullien. Take a stone and pray upon it. You may also bring your pet doggy with you, it will let you know when she is there.
I'm certain that, to the ancient Greeks, and to many other cultures that worshipped her, Hekate was not viewed as a Crone but more a Maiden. Her image through history was changed into the 'old hag'. I'm not sure 100% but I think that's right.
I'm not Wiccan but I feel very drawn to Hecate and some other goddesses.

She's my matron as well and I agree she can be quite demanding. She's very misunderstood as well. I've found that her power is very far reaching.

Like in Macbeth. Good play.

This was very good; however, one of the things that she's most noted for is the Goddess of Healing, i.e. Hecate's cure (aspirin)

you are right she was seen as Minor titness and never had Kids. She was warped in to Crone because she was "older" then most of the opylians
