Not all British people like Opera, but the vast majority of us do enjoy a moving piece of classical music or two, and we like seeing people coming from nothing and making a big success of themselves. I guess that would even apply to degenerate colonials like you.

It's a legitimate question. Not everyone who can sing can sing opera. That is a whole other level of singing. The most likely analogy would be singing "I Will Always Love You" like Whitney Houston.
