  • u kinda look like an avatar, to be specific, norms avatar

  • Idiot said you wasn't doing a hand stand lol

  • @inesitaginasta Subtile criticism! I know my handstand didn't look that good back then, but it's a handstand.

  • WOW

  • great video, sounds like porno tho,

  • Amazing, people like you inspire me!! ;D

  • ziet er goed uit joh! mooie muziek ook.

  • @lezardaki Danku!

  • do u keep ur legs tensed while doing it?

  • i am quite a good athlete and i really wanna leran the planche, but i am afraid it will injure my wrists, do you know if it is safe for my wrists?

  • @FreshSteff I know this is months late,

but at first it will make your wrists hurt, but your wrists will gain flexibility and it will no longer hurt.

No it won't cause damage to you.

  • Zwoel muziekje ^^^

  • @xPriinCesSzz Ja toch? Raurrr!

  • stop the video ...everyone in the world is getting a phone call....

  • amazing balance..

Any tips/exercises to improve your balance?

Im trying to get a handstand, i just cant keep my balance ):

  • @IFishyI Thanks! Well, if you have very little balance, you could start at practicing your handstands agianst the wall (with your back facing the wall when you're in handstand). Then you have to push your legs a little bit away from the wall and then try to maintain balance as long as possible. If you lose ballance, just touch the wall with your feet again.

  • @ninkara I can stand a handstand for 8-10 seconds max, but then i fall, i cant seem to improve it :/

  • @IFishyI To maintain your balance, it's important to use your hands and shoulders. When you're about to fall forward, you just have to push back with your streched fingers or move your shoulders backwards. If you're about to fall backward, you have to move your shoulders forward. That is pretty tricky but when you get it right, it will increase your handstand time. Good luck!

  • the presses are pretty nice. But u should get a clean form when performing a handstand

  • im worried about your lower back, if u look at the wall to tuck your head in, instead of the floor and pull ur stomach muscles in when you're in a handstand you'll have a really nice shape! looks incredible tho, well done! Im nowhere near this stage yet! keep posting! :)

  • How do you do this shit. Maybe I am just too weak to even begin, I can't even come close to doing anything like this.

  • @skinkboy123456789 There is always a beginning. If your not ready for these exersises yet, just start with practicing a handstand (agains the wall) and start doing muscle training like push ups and sit ups. Good luck!

  • so im def really fucken excited cause didn't think anyone else else knew of nujabes, they are amazing and i happen to be a planche enthusiast myself. cheers from canada

  • WooHoo!

  • looks like fun and great excersize.. I want to try that move at 0:30 , looks like it's great for abs... Once all those Yoga-Freaks leave the dance studio in my gym I will give it a shot.

  • how long did the L-sit to handstand at the beginning take to learn?

  • @cincifreerun that is actually probably one of the easiest things in the video to do since you're pretty much tucked the whole time. When his legs are straight like with the elephant lift that's hard as hell though.

  • nujabes great choice ^_^

  • looks more like handstand training lol

  • how long did it take u 2 be able 2 do that?

  • do thses moves build up the muscle and balance for planche?

  • yeh

  • wow impresive,i wonder how many regular pushups u could do

  • I would definitely train in this order.. Tuck planche (hold for 45 sec)...Advanced Tuck Planche (hold for 45 sec).....Straddle Planche (Hold for 15-20sec).....Full Planche.

Try and progress in that order, it will definitely help.

  • nice blance

    but you can be stronger

    train more

  • I don´t understand how can anybody do one of this things.

  • most of you youtbue users could train 2 years or more and wouldn even be half as good as him

  • Can't do the 2nd move and the headstand to handstand yet, great job! These exercises are great for capoeira!

  • wow

  • good work i work on my planche two maybe u could work on your form this makes it look more impressive... for me

  • How? what are the beginning steps? How does somebody start to learn these kinds of movements?

  • frog stand if you can hold it for for a minute it is said that you have enough arm strength and basic balance to go to a handstand where your knees are still bent that's how you can achieve at least the handstand step by step like he does it

  • mind explaining a bit more? i want details lol to what a frogstand is and what not

  • 2 things. First: Excellent video! I am trying hard to get this strong now.

    2: NUJABES FTW!

  • really good effort, i am gradually building up from a frogstand and headstand to a handstand at the moment. next will be walking on hands. then headstand push ups eventually.

  • Yes but strenght doesn't always involve balance.

  • very good would say one thing u can do to improve which no one has saidd

u arch aot which is going to do ur back in and make ur job harder try rounding the back more this help keep tht arch away keep up the good job

  • do you have an advice for me? every time I do something like that (planche attempt, whatever) my wrists hurt badly. Is there a way to avoid that? thx! btw I always listen to Nujabes when I work out^^

  • Well, to be honest, my wrists also hurt sometimes :P. I haven't really figured out how I can prefend that yet. I have always just ignored it, but maibe we could train the wrist someway... If I know it, I'll let you know! Good luck with your training!

  • thx for the response! well at least I'm not the only one^^ yes and an idea that came to me is using those little parallel bars on the floor. dont know if this helps but if find those I'll try it

  • The 2 ways to prevent that are: (1) strengthen your wrist with various exercises, and (2) do these exercises on your fingers. I personally keep on practicing on my wrists since my fingers aren't close to strong enough.

  • knucles?

  • @ninkara the NSD powerball helps check it out

  • o_O

  • his arms look small compared to mine, but he has that athletic strength....... I need to start doing these....

  • therefore he owns you.

  • awesome music

  • Comment removed

  • nice control over your body man, you should learn to hollowack. make me proud.

  • Thanks man! I'll do my best!

  • whats hollowacking?

  • I think he means the hollowback.

  • Ahhk I see. Lol, whats hollowbacking? awesome vid by the way, wish I could do half the stuff you can in this vid.

  • Thanks! A hollowback is a sort of handstand in which you place your chin on your chest and arch your back like a ( -shape.

  • hats an elephant lift

  • @fitzyuc

you know the bridge position ? but your feet are not on the ground .

  • Hollowback, like a bridge without your feet on the ground.

  • ok, thanks

  • lol this dude will beat the fuck out of me

  • damn..i cant handle the planche..i do like a handstand planche (something like in the middle xd) any help?

  • Freaky, I'm planche training too and I listen to Nujabes... We're blood brothers.

  • We are triple brothers! I am also planche training, and know of Nujabes from S.Champloo!

  • if you want to ever perfect the handstand, use ur wrist to balance. dont ever Walk on your hands, its like a handicap. Just fall over and try again bro. Your straddle planche position is almost there though.

  • Yea, your a tank alright, but you also remind me of someone that maybe has had a yoga influence on your training. Do you do any spotrs, or disciplines like martial arts or Parkour??

  • Yes. I also do karate and freerunning. Can you really see that?

  • Yea I spose so... Im quite into physical fitness and specicfic strength traininig. Its just the way you moved and your posture etc. etc.

Im a Traceur myself. I wish you

    Good trainings :)

  • Thanks man! Impressive that you could see that! I saw you were a Traceur by the PK in your name. I wish you good luck with your training too!

  • i respect your practice daily

  • Great job man keep it up!

  • that was amazing I have been trying to do that but I have poor balance. Props man.

  • do the planche progressions to learn the planche. When you can hold 60 seconds straight, go to the next progression. If you fall, make your attempts add up to 60 seconds. Do every day. Start off in frog, knees outside elbows, support on hands only. Next, ball plance. Knees inside elbows, arms straight, back parallel with ground. Next, straddle planche. Hands on ground, legs in the splits behind you. WHen you can hold that for 60s, start doing ball-planche pushups on paralletes.

  • ombros muertos!!!

  • what exercises are good to get me up to that point?.

I need to work on my core, I think my arms are pretty much there already...

  • balance is important when doin this, so strength isn't all that you need to work on.

  • What is the song name ??

  • It's "Aruarian Dance" by Nujabes.

  • is a theme from the anime samurai champloo

  • nice vid! but i dont get it.. where is the planche? :S

  • well it's called planche training cause he's doing all these exercises so he'll once be able to do a planche?

  • really remarkable a very good job. I entrained for 2 months but after of try to make handstand and elbow lever I feel badly I never has make them!! thank you for the video and good chance.

  • You're welcome! Just keep practicing!

  • Very impressive...awesome l-sit to handstand and elephant lift. I'm working on some of that stuff on parallettes. I can't really do it on the floor as well yet.

  • can you provide a workout log i can follow?

  • Sorry for my for my late respons, I've been very busy. It's difficult for me to make a workout log for you because I don't know in what condition you are. I don't know how strong you are. You know your limits the best. I became as strong as I am today by working out for like 30 minutes every night (exept for the nights I'm home late, and at the days I've sported) before I go to bed. I started like 3 years ago with doing like single strokes of 25 push ups, 70 sit-ups and some squads.

  • Then every time I hightend the amount of push ups and other excersises. I also added some other excersises to my training to train other muscle groups. Some excersises I've replaced for more effective excersises. Like my sit-ups, after some time I had to do more than 150 to finally feel something so I replaces it for a excersise where I only needed to do 70. I think you should just start with some excersises for different muscles, like push-ups, sit-ups and squads.

  • And do as many as you can up to a set amount. And everytime you think you're ready you make the amount you have to do higher. And add new excersises if you're ready for them. If you want to know more about excersises, just ask me. I hope this was helpfull. Good luck!

  • thanx! i've already created a workout routine.

Later!

  • Im trying to get to the handstand though im finding it virtually impossible. Even though i can do the L seat and elbow lever, its really odd like i can do half way handstand pushups though struggle with the hand stand its self. U recommend doing it against a wall or trying something new? maybe im not strong enough. PLZ give me a tip

    THX alot ;) phil

  • Hey Phil,

I think you're strong enough to do a handstand. Because it doesn't take much strenght to do it. And besides, you can do a L seat and other things too. So strength shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure you keep your arms straight all the time (somethimes you might need to bend them a little bit to refind balance). Also make sure you place your hands under your shoulders (don't place them too far from each other) with your fingers facing forward.

  • When I do a normal handstand, I always swing myself into the right position. I do this by swinging one leg up backwards (I always swing with my right leg), and at the same time bending your upper body forward with your hands streched above your head. When doing this, it's very important to keep your leg, your body, and your arms in one straight line. Then you bend your non-swinging leg a bit to be able to touch the ground with your hand.

  • Then, when your hands are on the ground, you kick your non-swinging leg (my left) off the ground, and place it streched next to your swinging leg. And al this time you have to make sure that your legs, your body, and your arm are in one line with each other

  • When you got this, you have to find the point of balance (which is when your body is completely vertical) by swinging up fast enough to find the balance. But if you swing to fast, you could fall over.

  • When you're afraid to fall over, you can practice your handstands against the wall. And when you got that right, you can push yourself al little bit away from the wall with your feet and try to find balance. Also when your doing a handstand and your about to fall forward, you can walk forward on your hands to refind your balance, or walk backwards when you fall backwards.

  • If you have any more questions, just mail me at my youtube account. I hope my tips are helpfull. Good luck! Greetz Laurens

  • thnx for help ninkara. I'm allredy practising and anfter 3 days I can do some things needed for planches very easy (fitnes helps) heh.

  • how can you get able to do that like strong enough can you guys help me?? I know fitnes gives you strenght but this is totaly different than fitnes. Is here on any vids how to get ready to do these?? if you do know anything please reply my mail so I'll know someone knows something helpful.

    thnx

  • I'll tell you how I practiced it. I've practiced on doing handstands a lot. First I did handstands against the wall and then I practiced them on the floor, trying to find the point of ballance. I also do a lot of strenght training. I do my strenght exercises every night for like a half hour before I go to bed, doing excersises for many different muscles. I started with doing normal situps, pushups, and squads as many times I could. And every time I got stronger I did more of these excersises.

  • And when when I got that strong that some excercises did'nt have much effect anymore (after some time I had to do over 150 situps before even feeling something), I found new excersises like one leg squads (pistols), push ups with my hands near to my hips and many other excercises. And I also found excersises for other muscle groups. Then after some time, I begun to practice planches which I have seen on Youtube. And by practicing these planches you can train those muscles you need very well.

  • If have questions, or if you want to know more about these excersises or planche techniques, you can just mail me on my Youtube account. I hope my information was helpfull!

  • One of the best songs from Nujabes.

  • everything was goood. work on your handstands though, legs together and get rid of that curve in your back by straightening your body stiff. it'll be much easier to hold after that.

  • Good job!

  • you look kinda like the main guy from ratatouille lol. but youre good at handstands, i tried lifting up slow like that and its not as easy at it looks, good work

  • awesome. keep training :-)

  • not bad man now start working on armed handstands i think your ready fro them i jsut started my training like last week on them so start now since ive heard they can take from 6 mths - 1 yr to learn :p though nice man

  • keep your legs together when your straightened out man it'll look much better

  • Nice work :)
