@Bebop. Speed limit is not the issue. I don't even speed. Having some dirt bag take my photo to line his pocket is wrong. I don't care how u justify it.
Thank God they finally took down those Fcking speed cameras. They were a horrible nuisance. I really dreaded driving in Az. when they had all those cameras along the freeways.
@dysd71 Well if you drove the allowed 10 mph over 65mph on the free-ways you would of been fine.. Or actually left when your supposed to and you wouldn't have to speed.
I love driving the 10 through Phoenix, just not during rush hour, there sure are a lot more cops since they turned off the photo radar! It is just so terrible in the West Valley where the widening project is going on.
yeah its really hot in arizona i went 2 tucson in the summer a few yrs bk to visit family and it was like 113 degrees every day id like to liv in flagstaff that was very scenic
Nice driving thru AZ on a ''heat wave'' day...I recognize that tune ''Heat Wave'' from mid-1964.... Talking about heat waves..this date in 1998...it was in the upper 80s all over New England...setting new record-high temps for any March!!!
@aas8 ... they do, because where he is at is a major trucking route -- and unlike LA there aren't many freeways, you missed your turn then it's a pain in the ass to get yourself back on the right route if your a truck driver
I wish I liked it here. I live in Mesa and can't stand how boring it is. Phoenix is the same way. Tempe is cool, but I don't drink and Scottsdale is too upscale.
Oh...later that day (this was on the 51), I was traveling back on it, and a car went horizontal in my rear-view mirror. Took out a few cars.......whew! (wipes sweat from brow).
@BradNMarty No we don't, You have to remember most people that live in Arizona are from other states, about 90% almost.. I am luckily one of the few born and raised in Arizona, We do not drive insanely over the speed limit only the idiots that move here from Cali do.
@BradNMarty When I visited back last January I was happy to find people drive a bit more on the faster side... Up here in Washington people drive 10-15 UNDER when it rains a little... This is the rainiest state and they act like they have never seen rain in their lives.
Correct. It was a nice day for a drive. I actually enjoyed it so much, I went all the way around the 101 loop! :) It was a great day--about 109 degrees, and my stomach was full of Q'doba (in Tempe)
blew a tire in that tunnel once...... Thanks for the memories!

You're welcome. I stink at all this technical gizmo stuff..so a song directly off the radio will have to do. :)
