@holmansmashbros your wrong. if you read top gear test track's power lap times. 0-60 & top speed is useless in the track. the ferrari 360 cs came in # 30 with a time of 1:22.3. the bmw m3 e90 came in #57 & 1:25.3 & bmw m5 e60 in #67 & 1:26.2. i know the CS has 20 more hp & 110 kg lighter than the Modena so it must have some kind of advantage. ive never seen a CS drag race with a M3 & M5. you can prove me wrong if you can show me a vid of a CS winning a drag race against a M3 E90 & M5 E60.

About this dragrace. The M5 M60 without the launch control in the 0-100 go over 6 second(umbeliveble but real) with, 4.9. The 360 it's better at all the speeds. I think or the 360 driver it's no very good, or the engine is'nt perfect or the M5 it's hard tunned. Anyway remember that the Spider it's heavy then the Coupè and it's the basic model of the Ferrari, and it's a car of 10 year ago... 1999 ;)

Thats because the modena spyder is a major POS and not to mention a waste of money, sorry all you modena fans. You could buy a corvette for half the price of a modena but its faster. And as far as the sound goes. The M5 has got my vote. It's got that gutty tone to it. That really wasn't a fair match. The M5 is in a different class. The Modena spyder is a great car for its class. Weak and underpriced.

Then again there are reports coming out that BM are going to drop the V10 and replace it with a twin turbo V8 (!). Pity. Might as well just plonk in the compressor on the V10 as GPower do. Guess thats normal for the heavy pig M5. The E39 was that slow too. I remember racing 2 of those on the autobahn with my 330 HP car and destroyed them as if they only had 300 HP.

Even now with my 450 HP car I pass the E60 no problem. Its harder than with my 330 HP car vs the E39, but the BMW is still far too slow for its HP.

But there are worse. Audis (S4, S6, RS6, etc) are even worse. The new RS6 for example with 580 hp is only as fast as a normal 450 hp car. Its predecessor was as bad.
