ya know on 360 they added way to many damn acheivments to get these done! I look like a noob online since I dont have any of them done. I finished EVERYTHING in the last 3 games and played every last mortal kombat game. Still MK vs DC was way to easy to finish the story. I did it all on Christmas day! Then I did the arcade ones like last month. Then I'm nearly done with the onlines, and most all of the fatalities. But combo challange is a pain in the ass! I cant even do it! I get to like 6!

This game's got a decent fight mechanic... probably the best for a MK game. Too bad the on-line/net code is so utterly broken and that the game itself seems so incomplete. Midway must've seen the writing on the wall and wanted a few bucks before they joined the unemployment queue!

Not that fussed about the 'gore' thing, oddly enough talking about a MK. I want the gameplay to be brought up to real competitive level.

MK Vs DC is a step in the right direction. Building on this with MKs usual interesting story elements, unique characters, content/unlockables, tongue-in-cheek silliness, and '9' could be the best MK yet!

Maybe 10 minutes on some of the characters' combos because they were ridiculously easy lol

i have the ps3 version and when i go to kombo challenge it lets me do it but after i do a kombo it doesnt seem to acknowledge it.

what am i doing wrong?

well it may be how your playing or that your doing it wronge go to 2 player and lets someone hold block after you do your first move to combo if they block somewhere thats why tis not letting you pass in kombo challenge a kombo is somthing they cant block

Now that I've completed a bunch of these Combo Challenges I take back what I said about the confetti. It's fine. Still think they should've used skulls accompanied by screams of torment; after all, it IS Mortal Kombat. not Mario Kart. I know it's MKU, but thanks for putting this up K, it's the only one I can't get. Now I see why: I wasn't teleporting right out of the 3. Once I get the timing for that, it'll be easy. Most fun so far though, and easiest: Superman. Let's get some games today K.

The way to time the first teleport is to press 3~db3 and wait for the teleport to start THEN do the promove. You have to wait or it will not come out.

This game is all about buffering, so you have to do the moves then sit back and watch. Think of Superman's 234df2 combo...press those buttons then watch as he combos for like 15 seconds LOL

I know what you mean about Sup. The input needs to have the right rhythm or the df(or db)2 won't come out. Happens a LOT online. I have to tell myself to slow it down as I tend to speed up my inputs during close fights.

I spent more time in practice mode with Raiden than any other so far, looking to see what could be buffered or not. Apparently my timing was terrible because I couldn't buffer ANY specials after a lone 3. Can you? Or is it only after a launch that 3~db3 will work?

!!!!!! ok every one i figured out what to do in the kombo challenge when it has a * by the buttons on the list meaning a pro-move...

whenever you finish the previous move there are little white * that flash when you hit the opponent and thats the time you do the * action!!! works everytime even on the hard ones

i sucked balls on these challenges before i figured it out

Damn...good thing I like using Raiden when I play this game lol, some of the KC I hear are very tough(haven't tried them yet) and the pro moves in higher combos are tough as hell depending on the character's moves. Example, double teleport for Raiden and using them in combos like this one for example. Nice job though dude
