@CopeWithSilence I've been to Lolla 3 of the last 4 years and i'm going this year again. For this show, we were camping for the Raconteurs who were next after the Black Keys, but we got to the stage during the middle of the band before them and then when they finished, people cleared up and we just waited the hour until the Black Keys went on. For main headliners like Arcade Fire, you'll have to get there when gates open and camp all day long. I did it for RATM in 2008 and it was amazing.
@sam72288 Alright thanks =) So the main reason I'm going this year is because of the Strokes. Do you think If I wait through three acts before I'll get a pretty decent spot?
@CopeWithSilence Yeah, I'd say if you get there in the time before the New Pornographers go on you should be good. The key is to move up while people are leaving when a show ends. So when the New Pornographers end you can push up some more and do the same after the Black Keys end. Last year we went over to the main stage after Bon Iver, moved up during Ben Folds, moved up some more before the Decemberists, then some more and we're about 10 or 15 people back for Kings of Leon.

i couldnt get when the black keys were performing my dad was picking up our VIP tickets at the booth i was soooooo pissed since it took like an hour and a half. so i walked behind the stage on the sidewalk outside the park and listened. but anyway later that night i was backstage during radiohead and saw patrick smoking a cig so i wen up to him and got to meet him!!!! lol life just seems to work out perfectly sometimes
