  • i have a real quick question. i did a swap on my teg, on the transmission, there are 4 plugs the 2 that every website shows and there are 2 other ones on the same side of the manual transmission but towards the front and little bit closer to the firewall looks like 3/8". who knows what does are for and with which fluids do i replace them with. i already did the transmission fluid part now i would like to do the other 2.i guarantee i'm not the only one with the same ? tumbs up so people can see!

  • @TheHondaEngineer completely lost me?

  • @GrindTimeAuto there are total of 4 plugs on the side of the transmission. 2 that you show and 2 other ones to the right of them. do you know what are they? anyone? im working on a 91 cable ls b18b tranny btw.

  • im doin this to my teggy but the fluid keeps overflowing and pooring back out... am i going to fast or something? kuz we drained it and started pooring it in and it all just spilled right back out the fill hole... we tryed goin slower and just pooring alittle in at a time and it still flows out! what am i doing wrong?

  • @finalanarky7 make sure the transmission is level, don't pour with the car jacked up to high.make sure the funnel is not all the way inside this could cause problems pouring.the transmission only holds 2 quarts

  • @fmaytorena1 Vacuum lines.Old school Iceman air intake.$250 for the fenders

  • finally changed mine with ur help thanks... quick question, after i changed it, i played around with the gears, went from first through fifth, and reverse over and over... it sounds kinda loud i dont remember if it did that before cuz i never played with the gears with the engine off.. is this okay? just getting lubricated again? i used about 2 1/5 bottle of acura tranny fluid

  • @BVanSittert56 100% normal noise. 2 quarts is good a little more not's going to hurt anything

  • @GrindTimeAuto thanks for your time and the video bro, appreciate it

  • is there a difference in doin an automatic integra vs manual? i did some reading and some professionals say do it 3 time to get out all of the atf out of system is this true and drive it around for a few mins in between changes

  • @teg9095 Automatics have way more fluid in them then manuals.Who's really going to flush 3 times and drive around that's alot of labor.Automatics you run the risk of moving around the bad stuff that's settled in the bottom of the pan when you flush. That's why some just drain and replace some car's take a turn for the worst when you flush

  • thanks for this man, gonna replace my fluid tomorrow morning

  • so why do ppl say to take of ur speed sensor n put the oil in there? is it the same?

  • @mothafucken13 if you do it that way there will be no way to see if you under/over filled.the speed sensor way is longer you have to move things out the way.

  • @GrindTimeAuto oh true..i was gona ask u something i had bearly put a new clutch, passure plate, n bearing, bt my tranny got stiff...whats wrong with it?thanks for ur help again

  • @mothafucken13 when you say stiff?Do you mean the pedal is stiffer than it used to be?Need more detail

  • @GrindTimeAuto oh sorry...the pedal is good...bt when i put it in gears its stiff..i have to like jam it in gears in oder to go in...the tranny feels stiff

  • @mothafucken13 A couple of things to look at.Check the slave cylinder to make sure it making a full throw every time you press the pedal.Check the master cylinder is full and not leaking/check slave for leaking.Make sure the new clutch is adjusted properly.not adjusted properly can cause all sorts of problems hard shifting, grinding.Check you shift linkage make sure its not worn out it should feel crisp when you move it around.

  • @GrindTimeAuto When parked and engine off you should be able to shift into all gears with no problem. If you have problems shifting with the car off,you have binding in the clutch assembly

  • what oil do i need for my manual 94 integra? same ? this is also the same process ?

    thanks

  • @thatonebeone just some honda or acura manual trans fluid it's the same ,same process

  • Sweet
