  • WOW...THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VID!!

  • Nice Luke. How long have you been playing?

(How come you bought the 6? I'm not as good a player as you are but find myself missing part of an octave when playing on 61 keys. Don't you think the 7 wouldn't been a better investment for you?)

  • Because for popular music you rarely need more than 61 keys. If you play a lot of piano pieces then you might be better off with an X7/X8. Although in that case I would choose the Yamaha Motif over the Roland since it has better piano sounds for my taste.

Note under the X6 is a 76 key casio but I choose the X6 for the sound.

I've been playing since the mid 80's (obviously looking at my video's:-).

  • Yeah the motif (xs7) is actually the board I'm getting next (I have the triton extreme 61 now) and after that the fantom x6. When playing on the 61 I don't always need a extra octave but mostly a couple of notes. I produce so it's not just for playing. Anyway, that's for answering.

  • I think you'll see a new fantom soon. It's that time in the lifecycle where they have to bring out an update or new model.

  • That's true. Especially now the m3 and xs are out.
