  • @ZaiRetsuZen ...they were, thats why Im not surprised they disappeared so fast....but the song title was pretty clever and a great double entendre....Runs in the family = a popular phrase for a trait that is consistent among fam members....and the other meaning, that the DJ from Run DMC was producing their shit. If only their music was as slick!

  • @flipgood89 i can dig it. I actually owned their cassette once! At the time they came out they were a little hype though.

  • the early 90´s hip hop is like a awesome cartoon. funky, colorful, lovely and full of good storys. thx for this joint

  • These cats were pretty good, way more lyrical than another bad creation .......this song reminds me of when I used to run home after school to watch video music box, and be mad when they spent half the show giving shoutouts lol....

  • @MAGIKORBIT her name is (not sure of spelling) Shakie Harris.( IF IM correct she dated Tony)

  • dammit i remeber dey shit hear when i was small

  • This is when young talent actually had talent. now they sound like they dropped out the 3rd grade. They can't wright lyrics let alone have good delivery on the mic at all. take notes.

  • You're Damn Correct!!! Even Kris Kross, Another Bad Creation, Perfect Gentlemen, Raven Samone, Fam-Lee has very very more talent than SouljaFag, Lil "shitty" Wayne.

  • DUDE...i been looking for this video forever and i have NO idea why its JUST showing up in my searches!?

this came out when i was a senior in high school and was one of the hardest disses ever directed at ABC.

ABC came back later that year and said "Popi popi have you heard, you get no airplay WORD"

    lol

  • I also been looking for this SINCE it came out. I was only 11 in '92 yet I can STILL remember the name, the hook, the beat, and for some weird reason....Tony's face (WTF??) But I didnt know how it was spelled "Fam-Lee". Not sure why all of a sudden I found it, but I aint complaining. I dont think Ive ever searched a song so long. Thanks to whoever posted this.

  • I was 11 in 1992 as well. My favorite year of my lifetime before became a teenager. 1992 is actually my favorite year of Hip Hop/ RnB for LIFE..

  • I've been looking for this one for years. I remember me, my friend and my brothers used to freestyle over the song cuz I don't think there was an instrumental for this. Still, when we would freestyle over this, we used to say some silly shit. One would be spittin' their silly little rhyme and the others would be on the floor just rolling. Man, I wish I could have those days back:)
