One Practical solution could have been to stretch a piece of land, far enough from the coast of Denmark to be of no danger to airport, i.e. about the length where the island where the tunnel today emerges, lies. This would have saved the coct of laying down an under water tunnel.

I laugh when they say that we're so different. I don't think Sweden, Denmark or Norway is different. I understand both languages being Norwegian myself, and I consider both countries to be very like minded.
