according to lee's bio, he didn't injured his back in a fight but during a hard body work-out. he was doing an exercise where he bent over at the waist. he ended up with some serious muscle tears and it put him in the hospital for months.

To set things straight for those who don't know. Bruce Lees's real name is "Lee Jun-fan". So lets get over that. His son is/was Brandon Lee.(Who died near the end of the making of "The Crow") His wife and kids are still kicking and to this day not attacked by random aspirin allergies or shrapnel from guns.
