  • man.. you guys are ON FIRE!

  • Does anyone know how I can find out which DAW's are compatible with that control surface?

  • all of them

  • would anyone reccomend the "M-Audio Fast Track MKII " ?!?

  • get a good analog mixer and hook it up the the MKII and there u go home studio mixer.

  • hey guys, awesome video...5 stars. question though, is just pro tools essentials limited to recording one track @time or is it the program and the interface? say, could i record 2 tracks at a time in a different DAW using the interface?

  • @juscratchinmaballs you can do 2

  • i just got the interface today !!

  • I watched you record this video, on your live stream...

You should make a video of 'outtakes' as like a Christmas gift to your viewers... because I was in stitches watching you trying to record it.

  • mk II = mark 2 for future reference

  • i've a question, not directly connected to this bt i dont know where to ask so here goes. any help would be greatly appreciated:

    context:

just got myself an ART tube mp mic pre-amp to use for garageband recordings (with guitar rig 3 / 4). i play primarily electric guitar, with a lot of distortion, drive, fx etc. i am, however, a newbie at home recording, so to speak.

  • (Q continued)

    earlier,

the guitar was directly plugged into the line-in. i was told by many people to use a mic preamp to warm / boost the signal and hence the ART tube mp.

now that i have it plugged in i realize all the heavy tones are going nuts with the noise and feedback. and the problem is the i'm having trouble differentiating between the quality of the signal with and without the mic preamp.

  • (Q continued)

the preamp has input and output knobs, and a separate 20dB boost button.

garage band has a recording level fader. guitar rig itself has noise reduction and input/output levels. in between all this i think i've lost the plot.

can someone tell me, what is the optimum settings for this rig for each component after the guitar:

guitar > mic preamp > garageband > guitar rig

    thank you so much, all.

  • studio b1 is a great mic

  • my nano controller does not work with my logic. Well it does but i cant get it to assign the faders/knobs to logic
