  • Hello Sir, Can you do a review on the altama 6478 with the side zipper? I am really considering in purchasing them and would like to hear your opinion on them. Your vids are very informative

  • what do you think about Bates boots?i want to buy some boots from Bates or Altama but Altama are hard to find in my country

  • Are those Hoplites the Load bearing version or light duty?

  • can you help me of how to clean the 8 inch desert boots. i have the same and since im in jrotc they got real muddy and its hard to clean em so any tips.

  • Altama ExoSpeed...better than the hoplite!

  • Hey survival dude, have you ever tried Rhino boots? they are american aswell

  • Great video, just subscribe as well. I have seen the box the boots come in and it said "Altama" on it, Altima is a car manufactured by Nissan...Thanks for the video....

  • ive got a pair of altama jungle boots and their made in china... never noticed that til now. lol owel still dam good boots

  • Got mine today, 10 wide, only problem I have is that the make your feet look very clown like.

  • Nice review. I have been thinking about getting the Altama Jungle boot in 9" 3LC.

  • @bashfulbrother i just got mine today and they are unreal quality compared to my imported knock off jungle boots that only lasted 5 months. so i will be using them in future vids. i make wild airsoft and real guns and archery vids. in the forest of mt hood. i do woodland survival camping and rafting. i do ninja and samurai training vids in the mts and extreme sports check out my channel if you like

  • @MOUNTAINOUS I bought the Mil Spec's and the 3LC's. Just absolutely LOVE them. They are tough, Tough, TOUGH. Great boots, very helpful vid. thanx.

  • isnt it altima not altama?

  • No, It is Altama. At least thats the way the P.R. rep pronounced it.

  • Have both. They are amazing. Took forever to break in the jungles, I have iron feet but still suffered in Honduras. The hoplites were issued to USAF SERE guys for the ManTracker course. Amazing, they work in wet slippery terrain, rocks, etc. Best boots I have ever owned. 550 chord laces are a given. Nice review, thanks bro. Picked up my jungles online for 20 bucks. Good deals out there.

  • another good video.

I really like the Warrior Wear Black Ops Boots from Blackhawk, you ever try them before?

  • Thank you very much, excellent review, I find it very useful.

  • Great info I am going to look up those boots, and I also like that idea of using para chord in place of boot laces. Merrell boots in my opinion are an excellent company. They have one of the best foot molds over many other companies. every boot company has thier own unique foot mold. Thanks for the info Brother.

  • Great vid, I have been looking for some new boots. I agree, some people find it hard to wrap their head around going from snow to sandunes in a few miles. Those boots look like they could handle the South West.

    Your bro in New Mexico,

    ~Kevin~

  • Absolutely Bro! There is no place quite like the South West.

  • Merry Christmas John, and thank you!

  • nice job on this vid, with good info. I'd never heard of Altama boots - maybe because I'm in the NE. outside NYC to be exact.

  • Another great video John. Thanks !

  • Dude, I friggin' love this vid. . . great job. Great editing and I love the background. You stepped up your game totally.

    BTW - good review.

That looks like the Camper Edition dual tank Chevy Silverado that I put through a telephone pole three pine trees at 20 feet in the air and horseshoed around another tree at 12 feet. . . Good choice in vehicles.

    I'm still alive.

    Kamo

  • you did a great job on this video john and the whole video was awesome and keep them coming.

  • I bought Wolverine Boots at the beginning of spring. They were trashed in two months... I'm where Suede Military Desert Boots and I'm in love... I am hoping they last more than two months... "Made in China" should be another way of saying "Cheap treason" I want to go to Cabella's and throw the Wolverine through a window. Wish I could find the receipt.

    Great Video, Five Stars

  • I'm liking those Hoplite boots, Will definatly look into them. Glad to see they're made in the USA to.

    5/5 Merry X-Mas!

  • thanks for the review John and have a merry christmas

  • good infoe John

  • 5/5m8

  • Thanks John for another great review. Here is wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas .

  • Great job...not many people review boots...great info.

  • John what boot do you reccomend for winter? I need a boot that I can hike all day in yet will keep me warm before dawn while sitting in the snow on te side of a hill.

  • altama is agood pair of boots anyway... but you are reviewing tropical boots in snow field? we are in the north hemisphere and its winter now... but you are making very nice videos for bushcrafting 5*

  • I use them in spring and summer. In the video before this one I showed my cold weather boots. These boots still do great just south of where I was in the video. It is still fairly warm down there.

  • Good job John . . . you got the Altama boot review in with the addition of a quick Black & Decker 12v inverter teaser!
