  • Do you know how to manage, control or reduce the heat the the engine blows to your knees? it is so f... hot in my balls.

    Please advice

  • Hi there, do you have any solution for the heat on your knees? it is so uncomfortable, never happened in my FZ6, up to the point of n wanting to use the bike.

    Please share your suggestions. hnks

  • To improve the FZ1 do three things before any engine mods 16 tooth front sprocket (£10) jack up kit (25mm)(£50) second hand 04 on R1 forks (fully adustable) and brakes (radial) (see ebay). You will be amazed how much quicker the bike steers

    Richard Great video though thanQ

  • whats the point of this mod?

you will lose power in low end. gain in hi end???

dont see the point except maybe on race track

  • @sszgo It improves throttle response and power in the mid range. In stock form, when you pin the throttle, the servo driven secondary flies open very slowly, allowing only partial potential power for the period it is opening. By reducing the size of the flies, more air is available immeadiatly; even before they begin to move (throttle response) and as the flies rotate toward their maximum open position (mid range). Top end is not effected.

  • You rock dood. Simply put

  • How many MM?

  • Man these videos are great, you are easy to watch also. Too many tools out there that I want to punch in the face so bad that I can't even sit through their vids. Great job!

  • YOU DO KNOW THAT THE SECONDARY FLIES INCREASE TORQUE, RIGHT?

  • Looks like a pretty easy mod.Do you know how much HP you gained by doing this?Any loss of MPG?Thanks for the great vid.

  • great vid but just like to point out that i had to use a double 00 philips as againt single 0

my single 0 (brand new) was just not a good fit .All i can think of is possably that us sizes are diferent to uk sizes mick

  • do you have to ajust fuel mix when you do this?

  • I have a 15t front. rear does not need changing. It cost about £16 . would recommend it , top gear pulls like it in 3rd gear.I did have to fit a speedo healer though as top speed showed 180mph! Got that from eBay

  • @R1KSU many thanks, gonna order a 15 tooth now ;-)

  • just amazing

  • Great video's keep them coming!

  • I have done both cats, but also put a 15 tooth front sprocket, wow makes it pull like a train, top gear from 30mph feels like 3rd gear :)

Front wheel lifts in 2nd at 60mph just by shutting and opening the throttle :)

  • @R1KSU did you just change the front sprocket to 15 tooth? I have a fz1-N 2008, and as far as i understand it comes with 17 tooth front( right?).

I read somewhere that for every tooth down on the front sprocket you should go 3 up on the rear sprocket.

I want to change to 16 or 15 tooth on mine, but do you also need a new chain?

    Many thanks for you advice.

  • got mine in the post today, gonna fit them tomorrow, already done the CAT guttin, so this will make my Fizzy go like shit off a shovel !

  • woah... can this be applied to the FZ6 too?

  • Great video man!!! Love it AND i'm doing it this weekend. Anyway,do u happen to know about the C0-C4 setting on the meter?....FZ1OA member..FZ1N Rider..peace.

  • Perfect video in every way. PLEASE post a tutorial on the CAT REMOVAL next! We're all anxiously waiting.

  • 2 cats one in the downpipe, just where the silencer joins, drill and hammer that out, 10 mins, second is in the main silencer about 8 inches in and 8 inches long ! you need a very long drill, I used 14mm Masonary drills to do the main holes, then crowbars and hammers for the rest, with a friend to sit on it whilst you hit it, about 4 hours !!!, runs a lot smoother and goes quicker, about 10bhp, some say :)

  • It's more than great !!!! I love that !!!!

  • Wow! What a passion you have for the Fizzy and it really shows through in your videos! This is definitely on my "to-do" list. Great job and keep up the good work.

  • Great video, thank you for taking the time. I disonnected the little arm that controls the flies a long time ago but would have used this method instead had I seen it laid out step by step. Keep up the good work. FZ1OA member
