An Amazing series that will truly widen my taste buds in beer drinking, If there was a grade better then like I would give it.Subscribed and ready for a marathon of beer review watching
@netrioter the self titled album for sure....thats the album that uses the same font as whats on your bottle of beer. Its their best. Then again they dont really have a bad album, they evolved their sound over the last 18 years but they still have that unique quality that makes them Clutch.
Completely thorough! I'm an advocate, as you are, for alternative, significant beer. I'm new to your series, and I am eager to explore more videos. Hopefully, you review the IPA market so I can have new guidance!
@hostileprostitute Thanks for the kind words! I try to be as thorough as possible in my reviews and yes, I do appreciate beers that are a bit different. I've done a fair amount of IPA's so you should have plenty to watch. Cheers!
You do the best reviews. Me and my buddies watch your reviews. Both beer and excercise. I'm going to buy your book!!! Good work all the way from Sydney Australia
@randallk87 Thanks for the kind words! Its nice to hear that I have an international audience. Thanks for the support on the book. Beer and fitness can definitely be combined. Enjoy it and Cheers!
I am pretty sure that this beer may have come out in June so it may be harder to find until next year, but I had Great Divide's Belgian-Style Yeti recently and it was wonderful. Not a sour, but a good solid stout.
@cheezeythaskunk You're right, I need to do another food/beer pairing with the Big Green Egg. Let me work something up. I'll try to get one out soon but it could be a few weeks. Thanks for watching and stay tuned!
Haha, you really have a hankering for something sour! Not all of these sour beers are supposed to be super sour though and I think if you go into with the mindset of judging each on their own instead of how sour they are you might enjoy them more, but I know what it's like to want a certain thing and get something different.
@jer3887 I'm definitely looking for some sour! I know all these aren't necessarily super sour but I had my heart set o it I guess. This was a good beer and I enjoyed it. I just need to get a really sour one now. Thanks for watching!

How did you like Death Valley? I enjoyed hiking around there and seeing all the unique landscapes.
I didn't care for this one much. They needed to blend more sour component into the stout base.

Rodenbach Vintage 2007 & 2008 are the best Flemmish reds out there.

I be tempted to mix that 50-50 with an IPA and see what results
khunopie 3 months ago
@khunopie That could be interesting. I'd go with a slightly malty version.
