I realize you are new to You tube, so I'm going to help you out a bit. First off, if you started the video from the beginning, you will note that I was not interested in people sending me hate, but rather to stimulate conversation. So the table is turned & you now look like a dumb ass.
Though I have no idea of his cooking skills, it's "Chief" not "Chef".
Most who are close to the SPD have little respect for him. Now go watch some one else channel.
this should be a fine man to help Obama as our new Drug Czar........... after all, Obama used to be a crackhead also, where do you think he learned to lie so good, crackheads lie so good, the even believe their own lies.......
As to the Obama comment, my deal is, he grew up in the 80's and 90's just as I did. I know myself and my peers experienced our "Drug Phase". and moved on to just using alcohol to deaden reality. So I don't hold anything against him for using drugs. In fact, I kinda think it's a good thing, makes him a bit more real knowing he has experienced modern life. I would much rather have some one who is in touch with today, than the old coots like the past.
True, but I'm not so sure it wasn't Coke or Meth and used very recreational. I mean he still has a fill set of teeth, and no craters on his face, AND he doesn't do the jaw cracking thing that Bush does. (that always creeped me out)
I would hope he extends the same respect to the Americans in places where medical cannabis is legal and stop wasting our tax dollars on a drug war against Cannabis. Were talking billions of our dollars spent on putting non violent offenders in institutions build for hard core druggies and violent offenders. I'm for logic, and I'm sorry you have whores and crack heads around a nice developed area, however. U cant build a palace on unstable grounds and expect the surrounding envio to change.
No disrespect taken. I agree with the system needing to be over hauled, and priorities re organized to address the hard core addicts. And I realize the Chief did put cannabis on the lowest wrung fo the ladder, and with the combination of Dr. Robert Killian's drive for medical marijuana, some sense of an overhaul has begun. I don't agree with taxing it, as I think the government has it's hands deep enough in our pockets. I'm just saying there has to be a better choice than the Chief.
I respect what you're saying and appreciate your replies to my comments. I follow politics and statistics very close, and it's always good to have a semi-debate on topics not seen much by the mainstream media. This has been a good discussion. Thanks again!
Sorry, wasn't trying to be disrespectful. I agree with you to some degree, however. We have support systems like the one your talking about, which is usually full of people that are there for not hard drugs but court ordered juvies caught with small amounts of cannabis. We should save the rehab for people who need it. Alcohol, and hard drugs. Legalize Cannabis which is between a smoke and a cup of coffee, use the tax rev, and help health care. To stay true to the topic, the new drug csar I
Looks like you live in a nice home and community. I understand most people in your situation may look at people selling drugs and themselves as horrible. I bet you believe if you throw money and tax dollars at the problem it will go away, right? Sorry, and I hate to inform you of this, but It won't make a difference. My point. Where there is hardship (cities), those things follow. Tell the people that live in those condos to stop buying crack and prostitutes and they'll go away. Ponder it
I appreciate your comment, these Rants & Raves are to stimulate conversation, we all don't have to agree with each other, as long as we all respect each others differences. That being said, to answer your question, actually no, I don't think throwing money at the problem will make it go away. The plan I had was to remove them from their environment, send them to a rehab in another state far away for 1 year where they would dry out the first 90 days, then while continuing the rehab....
(read from the bottom up)... While continuing rehab they would also learn life skills. not just how to avoid drugs, but things like how to count money, and take care of themselves. To also instill pride in themselves. Once the year was over they would have a choice of going home, but also there would be a work program they would come home to, so they would have a way to support themselves, and also housing would be made available. Maybe that is throwing money at the problem.
