@ThePotkustart With or without a hard drive, it still works because essentially, you are booting this off of a floppy drive and without a hard drive, it would tell you that there is no hard drive detected--even if you had a hard drive with health that is less than 100%.
@1AppleMaker yes thanks but about harddrive if it is damaged somehow that the health shows les than 100% what will cause it? i have heart somewere that if harddrive gets eny air inside it it will brokedown almost inmediatly. i mean aint it even 0% or 100% (simple if harddrive shows like 50% of health what will be wrong with it ind can it be fixed <- long text bacause it is hard to explain)
@ThePotkustart Over time, hard drives will decay in performance due to sector count and read/write operations. Mechanical parts will also begin to wear out after tens of years of usage.
In addition, exposing the hard drive to open-air for a short amount of time is alright, but not recommended to be opened in the first place, hence the adhesive glue or similar-like glue.
Sectors of the hard drive goes bad so the sector data has to be moved to spare area. This error can't be healed
what hapens if the harddrive health is not 100% will it still work?
