@ehsan83 I bought the XX first new in 00. And the K12S in 08. I don't dislike anything anything on either bike... I did 6604 miles in 10 days, both bikes were side by side, Ca. to NYC and back. The BMW is smoother and more power. I have a Ohlins on the back of the XX and Racetech work in the front. I take that to the track. I think the RWHP on the XX was 155 and unknown on the BMW. The BMW is just more refined with more power. I love the XX too much to get rid of it is all...

Every single magazine in the world rates the BMW S1000RR as the fastest production bike in the world and far, far faster than ANY Japanese bike including the kids' toy Suzuki. You obviously can't read because this is a video of a BMW K1200S which has since been superceded by the K1300S. Japanese bikes are notorious for having lying speedometers so idiots think they're going faster than they are...310km/h from a stock bike..ha ha!

Junk! My k1200s is sitting in my shed with a blown motor. Just traveling down the highway and BOOM! Connector rod came lose and blew a hole the size of a lemon (which it is) through # 4. BMW costomer service told me defect or not that it was my problem and they could offer me no help at all. 11000.00 for a new motor. The bike isn't worth that much. I still owe 8 grand on it. My fourth and last one I'll ever buy.

165bhp and no steering is not a good combination !

Hopefully the the newer K1300S is better.
